LOGAN, Utah — Utah State track and field freshman Presley Gray won Mountain West Women's Freshman of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday.

Scott finished in first place in the women's high jump at the Stacy Dragila Invitational on Friday with her clearance of 1.73 meters (5-8). The native of American Fork, Utah, jumped  one centimeter shy of her personal best. Her mark is tied for the sixth-highest of any MW athlete this season.

Gray earned her first career MW weekly accolades, and became the fourth Aggie to earn such honors this season. Junior Logan Hammer, freshman Daniel Chase, and freshman Abbie Scott were each honored in back-to-back weeks on January 14 and 21.

This week, Utah State will split their squad between the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the Valentine Invite in Boston, Massachusetts, and the Mountain State Games in Pocatello, Idaho, on Friday and Saturday, February 14-15.
