COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – Utah State women's tennis lost to Air Force, 4-0, 
 
Doubles
Seniors Indya Nespor and Cielo Tapia-Cruz built a 6-5 lead in doubles play at the second position before the Falcons recorded wins at the first and third courts to claim the doubles point.
 
Singles
Singles plat featured three tiebreakers as all four of the top positions of the lineup went to three sets. At the fourth position, freshman Natalie Paterova took the first set and narrowly missed taking the match in a lengthy second-set tiebreaker before AF took the match in the third set. At court three, sophomore Niyati Kukreti also won her opening set in a tiebreaker before falling in three sets. Junior Olivia Halvorsen took the first set at the second position before also falling in the third set. At No. 1 singles, Nespor claimed the opening set and further battled to a third-set tiebreaker before the match was abandoned.
 
Next Up
The Aggies return to the Sports Academy & Racquet Club for the next three matches. Utah State fill first host Nevada on Friday, March, 28, at 11 a.m., before preparing for a two-match weekend against Wyoming on Friday, April 4, and Colorado State on Sunday, April 6.
