LOGAN, Utah – Utah State women's tennis fought against No.55-ranked Nevada but ultimately fell, 4-1, on Friday at the Sports Academy & Racquet Club.

Maria Paula Ramos Garcia and
Kylee Sperry put Utah State ahead in doubles with a 6-2 win at the third spot in the lineup. The Wolf Pack, however, battled back with wins at each of the top two positions to ultimately take the doubles point and a 1-0 lead in the match.
Singles
After Nevada went up 3-0 with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions, senior
Indya Nespor drew one back from Utah State, using a dominant first set to post a 6-0, 3-6, 6-3 win at the second position. Ramos Garcia battled in a tight three-set match at the fourth court, but USU was unable to draw closer to the 55th-ranked Wolf Pack.

The Aggies conclude their 2025 home schedule next week at the Sports Academy & Racquet Club, hosting Wyoming on Friday, April 4, at 11 a.m., before celebrating Senior Day against Colorado State on Sunday, April 6, at 11 a.m.
