BOISE, Idaho – Utah State women's tennis battled in singles play but ultimately fell at Boise State, 4-1, on Thursday at the Appleton Tennis Center.
 
Doubles
Boise State began the match with a pair of 6-3 wins in doubles play, taking wins at the first and third positions while also leading, 5-3, at the second position to take the first lead of the match.
 
Singles
After the Broncos extended their lead to 3-0, the Aggies battled back in the remaining matches of singles play. Sophomore Niyati Kukreti put USU on the board with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at the second position of the lineup. Freshman Maria Paula Ramos Garcia and Kylee Sperry also took the first sets of their respective matches at the fifth and sixth positions before BSU clinched the match with a tiebreak victory in the second set at No. 4 singles.
