Match Madness" name, image and likeness (NIL) fundraising campaign, surpassing $1.5 million in cash and commitments in support of Utah State student-athletes. This milestone marks a transformative moment for USU Athletics and reinforces the unwavering passion of Aggie Nation.
Launched at the NIL Open House event on Monday, March 17, the Match Madness campaign received an immediate and enthusiastic response from the Aggie community. Thanks to the generosity of donors and supporters, the campaign quickly unlocked an initial $300,000 match and continued to gain momentum, exceeding expectations and reaching the new $1.5 million target.
"Aggie Nation showcased its commitment to creating a championship-level experience for Utah State student-athletes, committing an impressive $1.5 million in our Match Madness campaign," said Utah State University Vice President and Athletics Director
Diana Sabau. "We are at a critical time in Utah State University athletics, and the funds raised immediately impact our programs in a time when recruiting and student-athlete retention is paramount. We need continued support in name, image, and likeness to reach and rise in our pursuit of excellence."
The Blue A Collective, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, remains instrumental in fostering meaningful NIL opportunities for Aggie student-athletes. Through community engagement, branding opportunities and professional development, the Collective bridges the gap between athletics and philanthropy, empowering student-athletes to make an impact in Cache Valley and beyond.
With the campaign's success, Utah State Athletics encourages fans, alumni and supporters to stay engaged and contribute in three key ways.
