The team broke the Utah State record in the women's 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:38.66 at the Franson Last Chance Meet in Azusa, California, this past weekend. They topped the previous record of 3:38.93, which was set in 1996 by Becky Sorenson, Jane Marshall, Shelley Grupe and LaDonna Antoine-Watkins. With this performance, the quartet became the first to break any of the seven school records set by Utah State Hall of Famer Antoine-Watkins, a two-time Olympian representing Canada, during her career from 1994-97.
