LOGAN, Utah – Utah State has received the Platform Golf Team Academic Award from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) it was announced Tuesday.
 
During the 2024-25 academic year, Utah State's golf team had an overall grade point average of 3.38.
 
Utah State was one of nine Mountain West schools to be honored and one of three programs from the state of Utah to be recognized. Overall, 92 Division I golf teams received the Platform Golf Team Academic Award from the GCAA for having a 3.0 or better GPA, while 75 programs received Presidents Special Recognition for have at least a 3.5 GPA.
