LOGAN, Utah - Utah State head women's tennis coach Veronika Golanova has announced a pair of signees joining the team for the 2025 fall tournament season. The Aggies welcome Sabina Pintea (Romania) and Terezia Mlkva (Slovenia) in advance of the 2025-26 season.
 
Terezia Mlkva comes to Logan from Piestany, Slovakia, where she attended Gymnazium Pierra de Coubertina. She reached the top 500 of the ITF Junior world rankings in 2024 and has amassed career records of 25-12 in singles and 12-9 in doubles in junior matches. She was part of the Slovakian National Junior Championship team in 2024, also finishing as a runner-up in Slovak Extraliga in 2024 and 2025. 
 
Sabina Pintea comes to Utah State out of Roeselare, Belgium, and has been ranked in the top 1000 of the ITF Junior world rankings, recording an overall record of 50-33 in junior matches. Originally from Romania, Pintea won a doubles title at the J30 Hasselt and also reached the semifinals there once before and at the J60 Arlon and J30 Heiveld tournaments.
