Box Score COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – Utah State women's tennis highlighted its weekend at the Bedford Cup with a championship in the Blue Draw doubles bracket, as Maria Paula Ramos Garcia and Terezia Mlkva teamed up to win four straight matches en route to the title.

The duo opened with a 6-2 victory over Idaho State's Millie Day and Veronika Zarovna before taking down Idaho's Jessica Matthews and Valentina Rodas, 6-3. They continued their strong run with a 6-4 win over Wyoming's Violetta Borodina and Silver Bijlsma and clinched the championship with a 6-3 victory against Colorado's Lani Brotman and Yukiko Ikedo.

In singles play, Mlkva collected back-to-back wins in Flight Alpha, defeating Valentina Rodas of Idaho (7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (10-6) and Idaho State's Stefanya Shalakhova (6-2, 6-3). Ramos Garcia added a three-set win over Idaho State's Sydney Morris in Flight Charley (6-3, 6-7 (4), 1-0 (10-6).

Utah State also saw success in Flight Delta, where Kylee Sperry opened with a straight-set win over Colorado State's Hanna Haber (6-2, 6-0). Magdalena Nunez Pureco added two wins, defeating New Mexico's Maria Matsoukatidi (6-3, 2-6, 6-2) and Idaho State's Zarovna (7-6 (7), 4-6, 1-0 (10-2). Sperry and Nunez Pureco also paired together for a win in the Green Draw doubles bracket, defeating Idaho State's Victoria Grymalska and Evelina Zhuk, 6-1.
