LOGAN, Utah – Utah State gymnastics (11-4, 3-2 MW) continues its 2026 season on Friday, Feb. 20, as it hosts Mountain West-foe Boise State (5-9, 1-3 MW) in a dual meet at 6:30 p.m. USU is ranked 29th in the nation in this week's Road to Nationals Poll and BSU is ranked 44th.
Utah State's rotation will be vault, bars, beam, floor. Boise State will start on bars, followed by vault, floor, and beam. The meet will be streamed live on the MW Network and live scoring will be available via Pro Score.
As part of its Spectrum Magic Night, USU Athletics will be giving away exclusive Spectrum Magic t-shirts to the first 300 arriving fans. Gymnasts will be available following the meet for autographs on the concourse.

UTAH STATE NOTES
Utah State's 11-4 start to the 2026 campaign is its best since the 1999 squad started with a 12-3 record. Overall, USU's 11-4 record is tied for the sixth-best start to a season in program history.
Utah State ranks first in the Mountain West and 29th in the nation heading into the seventh week of competition with a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 195.638. USU ranks first in the MW and 27th in the nation on bars with a NQS of 48.958, first in the MW and 30th in the nation on floor with an NQS of 49.083, second in the MW and 32nd in the nation on beam with an NQS of 48.821, and second in the MW and 39th in the nation on vault with an NQS (48.783).
Individually, junior Nyla Morabito ranks first in the MW and 42nd in the nation on vault with an NQS of 9.830. Junior Sydney Jelen ranks first in the MW and 55th in the nation on beam with an NQS of 9.820. Junior Isabella Vater ranks second in the MW and 29th in the nation on floor with an NQS of 9.870. Sophomore Olivia Orengo ranks second in the MW and 56th in the nation on bars with an NQS of 9.830.
FROM THE RECORD BOOKS
Junior Nyla Morabito has won eight vault titles in her career, which is the seventh-most in program history. Morabito has already won five vault titles this year, which is tied with three other gymnasts for the seventh-most in a single season in program history.
WITTE HONORED BY THE MOUNTAIN WEST
Utah State junior Mya Witte was named the MW Beam Co-Specialist of the Week following her performance at San José State last weekend. Witte won her first career title as she scored a career-high 9.900 on beam.
THREE AGGIES WIN TITLES AT SAN JOSÉ STATE DUAL MEET
Utah State had three gymnasts claim titles in its dual meet at San José State last weekend, as junior Mya Witte won her first-career title with a career-high 9.900 on beam. Sophomore Olivia Orengo and fellow sophomore Lundyn VanderToolen tied for first on bars with scores of 9.900. Freshman Anabelle Dewey tied for first on floor with 9.850.
For Orengo, it is her first title this year and the second of her career, both of which have come on bars. VanderToolen also won her first title this season and second of her career, both being bars titles. Dewey won her second title this year, both being on floor.
Overall, Utah State posted three career-high and four more season-high scores during the meet.
SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
Boise State ranks fourth in the Mountain West and 44th in the nation heading into the seventh week of competition with a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 194.850. BSU ranks third in the MW and 37th in the nation on beam with a NQS of 48.656, third in the MW and 42nd in the nation on vault with an NQS of 48.738, fourth in the MW and 42nd in the nation on bars with an NQS of 48.675, and fourth in the MW and 54th in the nation on floor with an NQS of 48.681.
Individually, freshman Miraya Nero ranks fourth in the MW and 37th in the nation in the all-around with an NQS of 38.465, and sixth in the MW on beam with an NQS of 9.760. Senior Kylee Hamby ranks fifth in the MW and 92nd in the nation on bars with an NQS of 9.790. Sophomore Bridget Kemp ranks ninth in the MW on vault with an NQS of 9.745. Senior Blake Pascal ranks 10th in the MW on floor with an NQS of 9.750.
SERIES HISTORY
Utah State is 61-60-1 all-time against Boise State, including a 29-19 home record. USU has won each of the last three meetings against BSU, including a 195.350-195.250 road win against the Broncos at the Boise State Quad Meet on Jan. 30, 2026.
LAST TIME OUT
Utah State won three event titles and scored 195.675 at Mountain West-foe San José State on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026, inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center. The Spartans won the meet with a season-high 196.350.

Utah State began the meet on the bars and scored 48.950, followed by 48.725 on vault, 48.925 on floor and 49.075 on beam, which is its second-highest beam score of the season. San José State scored 48.900 on vault, 49.175 on bars, 49.225 on beam and 49.050 on floor.
Utah State opened the meet with 48.950 on bars. Junior Sydney Jelen began the competition with 9.825 and senior Avery Bibbey followed with a season-high-tying 9.800. Orengo then posted a career-high 9.900 and VanderToolen followed with 9.900 of her own, which is a season-high. Orengo and VanderToolen tied for first on the event. Freshman Charley Laufer posted 9.525 and junior Isabella Vater concluded the rotation with 9.175.
Utah State moved to vault for its second rotation and posted 48.725. Junior Nyla Morabito led the Aggies in this rotation with a 9.825 in the anchor spot to tie for second on the event. Witte began vault with 9.725 and VanderToolen followed with a season-high-tying 9.750. Dewey then scored 9.700 and fellow freshman Alianna Valdez scored 9.725. Senior Chelsea Southam posted 9.625.
Moving to floor for its third rotation, Utah State scored 48.925. Dewey led the Aggies with 9.850 to tie for first. Orengo began the rotation with 9.800 and freshman Sienna Yelle scored 9.525. Southam scored 9.775, Vater scored 9.700 and freshman Mara Gruber posted 9.800 in the anchor spot.
Utah State finished the competition with its second-highest beam score of the season of 49.075. Witte highlighted this event for the Aggies as she posted a career-high 9.900 in the anchor spot to win her first-career beam title. Jelen began the rotation with 9.825, followed by a career-high 9.850 from Orengo. Sophomore Kaylie Medrano followed with a season-high-tying 9.825. Valdez scored 9.675 and Laufer posted 9.550.
