LOGAN, Utah – Utah State's Director of Track & Field and Cross Country
Artie Gulden announced on Monday the program's outdoor schedule for the 2026 campaign.
The outdoor slate features 16 meets, including the Mountain West Outdoor Championships (May 14-16 in Clovis, California), the NCAA West First Rounds (May 27-30 in Fayetteville, Arkansas) and the NCAA Outdoor Championships (June 10-13 in Eugene, Oregon).
Utah State will host one event during the outdoor campaign, the Aggie Invitational, on Friday and Saturday, April 24-25, at Ralph Maughan Track Stadium.
Utah State's outdoor season begins with the Utah Tech Invitational in St. George, Utah, on Saturday, March 21. USU will stay in-state the following Thursday as they compete at the UVU Collegiate Invitational in Orem.
The first of three split-squad weekends opens the month of April as USU travels to the Stanford Invitational in Stanford, California, and the Pepsi Florida Relays in Gainesville, Florida, from Friday-Saturday, April 3-4. USU will then send its heptathletes and pentathletes to the Bryan Clay Multis in Azusa, California, on Friday-Saturday, April 10-11, while the rest of the team competes at the Weber State Spring Open in Ogden, Utah, and the Utah Spring Open in Salt Lake City the same weekend.
USU will head back to California the following weekend for the Azusa Pacific-hosted Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California, from Thursday-Saturday, April 16-18. The same weekend, USU will compete at two meets hosted by Long Beach State, with the Pacific Coast Invitational taking place on Thursday and the Beach Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Utah State will return home the following weekend to host the Aggie Invitational on Friday and Saturday, April 24-25.
The Aggies will split their squad between the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational in Provo, Utah, on Thursday-Friday, April 29-30, and the Stanford-hosted Payton Jordan Invitational on Saturday, May 1. USU will conclude its regular season on Saturday, May 8, at the Oregon Twilight meet in Eugene, Oregon.
Utah State will begin the postseason with the MW Outdoor Championships, hosted by Fresno State, from Thursday-Saturday, May 14-16, at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, California.
The NCAA West First Rounds, hosted by Arkansas, will be held two weeks later from Wednesday-Saturday, May 27-30, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The track and field season will conclude with the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, from Wednesday-Saturday, June 10-13.
