LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head golf coach Dean Johansen announced Thursday the signing of Brady Powell. Powell will join the Aggie program next fall for the 2026-27 season.

"Brady is an outstanding addition to our program and a player we're excited to welcome to Utah State," said Johansen. "He has proven himself as one of the top high school golfers in Montana with his consistency, competitive drive and ability to post low scores. Brady's work ethic and passion for the game really stood out throughout the recruiting process, and we believe he has a tremendous future ahead of him as an Aggie."

Powell attends Corvallis High School in Corvallis, Montana, and is a four-year letterwinner. He helped the Blue Devils to the Montana Class A State Championship in 2026 and back-to-back Divisional Championships.

Powell finished in the top 10 at the state tournament and earned All-State and All-District honors all four years of high school. He won two Divisional Championships during his prep career.

Powell won five tournaments during his senior season, including the divisional tournament, and finished in the top three at the state tournament. He set the state record for lowest round in a tournament at 12-under-par 60 and finished the season with an average score of 68.4. He had a scoring average of 71.6 as a junior, 73.0 as a sophomore and 76.3 as a freshman.
