LOGAN, Utah – Utah State golfers Luis Cantu, Chase Goetschel, Hunter Hall and Noah Moody were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team, it was announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Cantu, a senior from Monterrey, Mexico, holds a 3.63 GPA and earned his bachelor's degree in management and finance in the spring of 2025. He also earned CSC Academic All-District honors in 2023 and is a three-time Academic All-Mountain West (2022, 2023, 2024) and four-time MW Scholar-Athlete (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) honoree.
Goetschel, a junior from Trabuco Canyon, California, holds a 3.69 GPA majoring in finance. This is his first CSC Academic All-District honor.
Hall, a junior from Cody, Wyoming, holds a 3.62 GPA and earned his bachelor's degree in integrated studies in the spring of 2026. This is his first CSC Academic All-District honor, and he was a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete in 2025.
Moody, a sophomore from Vineyard, Utah, holds a 3.73 GPA majoring in recreation administration – sports management. This is his first CSC Academic All-District honor.
