LOGAN, Utah – Utah State gymnastics had a school-record-tying six student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team, it was announced by the organization on Tuesday.

Those earning the recognition include Avery Bibbey, Sydney Jelen, Kaylie Medrano, Olivia Orengo, Isabella Vater and Mya Witte.

Bibbey, a senior from Chandler Arizona, has a 4.00 GPA while earning her master's degree in sports management this past spring. She is a three-time Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-American (2023, 2024, 2025) and earned CSC Academic All-District for the third time (2024, 2025, 2026). She also garnered Academic All-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete honors in 2024 and 2025.

Jelen, a junior from Algonquin, Illinois, has a 3.59 GPA majoring in kinesiology. She earned WCGA Scholastic All-American honors in 2025, along with being named a MW Scholar-Athlete. She is a two-time Academic All-MW honoree (2024, 2025). This is her first CSC Academic All-District award.

Medrano, a sophomore from Buckeye, Arizona, has a 3.93 GPA majoring in kinesiology. She earned WCGA Scholastic All-American honors in 2025, along with being named a MW Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-MW. This is her first CSC Academic All-District award.

Orengo, a sophomore from Rogers, Minnesota, has a 4.00 GPA majoring in journalism. She earned WCGA Scholastic All-American honors in 2025, along with being named a MW Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-MW. This is her first CSC Academic All-District award.

Vater, a junior from Las Vegas, Nevada, has a 3.91 GPA majoring in marketing. She is a two-time Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-American (2024, 2025) and a two-time MW Scholar-Athlete (2024, 2025) and Academic All-MW honoree (2024, 2025). It is the second time she has earned CSC Academic All-District recognition (2025, 2026).

Witte, a junior from Greenacres, Florida, has a 3.70 GPA majoring in journalism. She is a two-time Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-American (2024, 2025) and a two-time MW Scholar-Athlete (2024, 2025). She earned Academic All-MW honors in 2025 and this is her first CSC Academic All-District recognition.
