Indoor: Set career-best mark of 4.40 meters (14-5.25) in the pole vault at two meets, placing sixth at the Bronco Challenge and ninth at the Ed Jacoby Invitational, both hosted by Boise State.
Outdoor: Competed in five meets during the season with his best finish coming at the Utah State-hosted Mark Faldmo Invitational, where he placed fourth in the pole vault with a career-best mark of 4.32 meters (14-2)… Earned academic all-Mountain West, MW Scholar-Athlete and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete accolades.

2017 (FR)
Indoor: Competed in one meet during the season, placing sixth in the pole vault with a season-best mark of 4.25 meters (13-11.25) at the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invitational.
Outdoor: Competed in two meets during the season with his best finish coming at the UC Irvine-hosted Spring Collegiate Classic, where he placed eighth in the pole vault with a career-best mark of 4.32 meters (14-2)... Earned Mountain West Scholar-Athlete and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-time letterwinner in track & field at Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah… Two-time state champion in the pole vault… Guided the Darts to back-to-back track & field championships in 2015 and 2016… Recorded track and field bests of 4.87m (16-0) in the pole vault and 6.62m (21-9) in the long jump as a senior.

PERSONAL: One of four children of John and Carolee Calvin… Majoring in aerospace engineering.
