OUTDOOR RECORDS: Ranks eighth all-time in USU history in the shot put with a mark of 18.05m (59-2.75).

2018 (SR)
Indoor: Competed in just the shot put and earned first-team all-Mountain West honors after placing second in the event with a career-best throw of 17.91 meters (58-9.25), which ranks 10th all-time in school history, at the Indoor Championships… Placed in the top five in all six meets he competed in, including recording two gold medals and three runner-up finishes.
Outdoor: Placed 20th in the first round of the shot put with a personal-best mark of 18.05 meters (59-2.75), which ranks eighth all-time in school history, at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships… Earned first-team all-Mountain West honors after successfully defending his 2017 discus title with a winning throw of 55.20 meters (181-1) at the Outdoor Championships… Also earned first-team honors by placing second in the discus with a mark of 17.81 meters (58-5.25) at the Outdoor Championships… Set personal-best mark of 55.98 meters (183-8) in the discus, which ranks fifth all-time in school history, at the BYU-hosted Clarence Robison Invitational… Recorded 13 top-10 finishes, including placing first on four separate occasions – twice in the shot put and twice in the discus… Earned academic all-MW, USTFCCCA All-Academic and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.

2017 (JR)
Indoor: Earned first-team all-Mountain West honors after placing third in the shot put with a season-best throw of 17.30 meters (56-9.25) at the Indoor Championships… Set personal best of 15.02 meters (49-3.50) in the weight throw at the Boise State-hosted Jacksons/New Balance Invitational… Placed in the top-10 in all seven events he competed in, including placing first in the shot put (16.70 meters/54-9.50) at the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invitational.
Outdoor: Placed 41st in the first round of the discus with a mark of 50.04 meters (164-2) at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships… Earned a pair of first-team all-Mountain West honors after finishing first in the discus with a season-best mark of 53.33 meters (175-00) and third in the shot put with a mark of 17.58 meters (57-8.25) at the Outdoor Championships… Recorded 13 top-10 finishes during the season, including placing first three times… Earned academic all-MW and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.

2016 (SO) 
Indoor: Placed sixth in the shot put (16.97 meters/55-08.25) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Won the shot put title at the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invitational with a mark of 15.65 meters (51-04.25). 
Outdoor: Placed 30th in the shot put (17.61 meters/57-09.50) at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships… Finished fourth in the shot put (17.31 meters/56-09.50) and seventh in the discus (51.10 meters/167-08) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Recorded season-best throw of 17.77 meters (58-03.75) in the shot put at the Boise State-hosted Border Clash, where he placed first to win his first collegiate event title… Earned academic all-MW and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors. 

2015 (FR) 
Indoor: Finished eighth in the shot put (16.26 meters/53-04.25) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships.
Outdoor: Placed eighth in the shot put (15.48 meters/50-09.50) and 12th in the discus (47.14 meters/154-08) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Placed third in the shot put at three different meets and third in the discus at two other meets… Earned academic all-MW honors.

GERMANY: Placed fifth at nationals in the shot put and eighth at nationals in the discus... Recorded a personal-best mark of 60-6 in the shot put.

PERSONAL: One of two children of Otmav and Carola Hirschmann... Majoring in mechanical engineering.
