OUTDOOR RECORDS: Ranks first all-time in USU history in the 4x400m with a time of 3:04.48… Also holds the third-, fourth-, fifth- and eighth-fastest times (3:05.53; 3:06.96; 3:08.46; 3:10.01) in the event… Has the second-, third- and 10th-fastest times (39.50; 39.90; 40.45) in school history in the 4x100m… Tied for fourth in school history in the 400m with a time of 46.43.

2018 (SR)
Indoor: Garnered first-team All-American honors in the DMR after placing fifth with a school-record time of 9:32.31 at the NCAA Indoor Championships… Earned first-team all-Mountain West accolades by placing second in the DMR (9:34.61) at the Indoor Championships, where he also placed fourth in the prelims of the 400 meters with a time of 48.51… Recorded career-best times of 7.01 in the 60 meters and 21.54 in the 200 meters.
Outdoor: Competed in five meets with his best finish coming at the Utah-hosted Spring Classic, where he placed first in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 41.16… Placed in the top 10 a total of four times… Earned academic all-Mountain West, USTFCCCA All-Academic and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete accolades.

2017 (JR)
Indoor: Earned first-team all-Mountain West honors after placing first in the 4x400-meter relay (3:09.21) and second in the 400 meters (46.94) at the Indoor Championships… Set the school record and placed first in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:07.23 at the Arkansas-hosted Tyson Invitational… Recorded top-five finishes in all eight events he competed in during the season, including placing first in the 4x400-meter relay all four times.
Outdoor: Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Championships in the 4x400-meter relay, but did not compete due to injury… Earned first-team all-Mountain West honors after placing first in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:05.53 at the Outdoor Championships, where he also placed fourth in the 400 meters with a career-best time of 46.43… The relay time of 3:05.53 set both a MW Championships and USU Ralph Maughan Track Stadium record… Set personal-best time of 21.32 in the 200 meters at the Utah State-hosted Mark Faldmo Invitational... Garnered academic all-MW honors.

2016 (SO) 
Indoor: Finished 20th in the 400 meters with a time of 48.41 at the USA Track & Field Indoor Championships… Garnered a pair of first-team all-Mountain West honors after finishing first in the 400 meters with both a meet- and school-record time of 46.26, and taking home the crown in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:09.48, which is the fourth-fastest time in school history… Ran a season-best time of 7.06 in the 60 meters at the Montana State Invitational and career-best times of 46.26 in the 400 meters at the MW Indoor Championships… Placed first in the 4x400-meter relay in five of the six races he competed in.
Outdoor: Garnered second-team All-American honors after placing 12th in the semifinals of the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:06.41 at the NCAA Outdoor Finals… Was part of the 4x400-meter relay team that placed fourth at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships with a school-record and personal-best time of 3:04.84… Finished 19th in the 4x100-meter at the NCAA West Prelims with a time of 40.54… Tabbed first-team all-Mountain West after placing second in the 4x100-meter with a time of 40.09 at the Outdoor Championships, where he also placed fifth in the 400 meters with a time of 48.62 and 13th in the prelims of the 200 meters with a time of 21.83… Also recorded career-best time in the 4x100-meter (39.50) at the Weber State-hosted Twilight Meet… Recorded 14 top-five finishes during the season, including placing first six times… Earned academic all-MW and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.

2015 (FR):
Indoor: Did not compete due to injury.
Outdoor: Did not compete due to injury.

HIGH SCHOOL: A six-time letterwinner in football and track & field at Sky View High School in Smithfield, Utah… Recorded track and field bests of 48.4 in the 400m, 22.1 in the 200m and 10.9 in the 100m… State champion in the 400m, 4x100m and 4x400m… Named Utah’s 4A track & field athlete of the year… Led Sky View HS to a state championship in track & field in 2011.

PERSONAL: One of six children of Troy and Shauna Martin… Served an LDS Church Mission in Chiclayo, Peru, from 2012-2014… Majoring in accounting
