2017 (JR): Proved to be the team’s top vaulter after competing on the event just three times in the two previous seasons combined… Tied for 13th on vault (9.800) at the NCAA Regional Championships (4/1)… The 9.800 on vault at the Seattle Regional is tied for sixth all-time in school history on the event at a regional meet… Tied for 11th on vault (9.775) at the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Championships (3/18)… Averaged 9.777 on vault during the season, which ranks tied for 13th all-time in school history… Had a Regional Qualifying Score of 9.805 to rank second on the team, 12th in the MRGC and tied for 24th in the North Central Region… Recorded a career-high score of 9.850 on vault to tie for second against No. 7 Boise State (2/17)… That 9.850 tied for the Aggies’ top score on vault during the season… Also competed on bars in eight meets and on beam in three meets… Notched a career-high 9.825 on bars at No. 16 Southern Utah (2/10)… Averaged 9.722 on bars… Placed in the top three on vault a total of four times to rank tied for sixth on the team… Captured the vault title at San José State (3/5) with a 9.825.
2016 (SO): Competed on vault in three meets and on bars in four meets during the season… Recorded a career-high 9.700 on vault against No. 24 Southern Utah (1/29) and a career-best 9.725 on bars against Centenary College (1/8).
2015 (FR): Did not compete during the season... Was a USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete Award recipient.
CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL: Competed at Go For It USA in North Las Vegas, Nev., under coaches Don and Sara Eckert... In 2014, placed third in the all-around at the Lady Luck Invitation... Is a two-time Level 10 Regional Qualifier (2013, 14)... In 2013, she placed third on vault and sixth in the all-around at the Level 10 state championship meet... Placed sixth in the all-around at the 2012 Level 9 State Championships and second on vault at the 2011 Level 9 state championships.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jeffrey and Tamera Hone... Has a younger sister... Recipient of the USU Alumni Scholarship... Majoring in biochemistry.
