2017 (SR): For the second consecutive season, competed as a beam and floor specialist in every meet… Tied for 35th on beam (9.600) and tied for 27th on floor (9.725) at the NCAA Regional Championships (4/1)… Earned first-team all-Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference honors after tying for first on beam with a career-high-tying 9.900 at the league championships (3/18)… Also tied for 18th on floor with a 9.750 at the MRGC Championships… The 9.900, which ranks tied for 11th all-time in school history, tied for the Aggies’ top score on beam during the season… Had a Regional Qualifying Score of 9.810 on beam to rank tied for 12th in the MRGC and tied for 26th in the North Central Region, while her RQS of 9.800 on floor ranked 17th in the conference and 40th regionally… Placed in the top three on both beam and floor a total of five times to rank tied for fourth on the team… Captured two beam titles on the season, once at the MRGC Championships and once at BYU (1/20) with a 9.800… Averaged 9.666 on beam and 9.757 on floor... 2015 (R-SO): Competed in every meet of the season… Averaged 9.743 on beam and had an RQS of 9.825 to rank tied for 12th in the North Central Region… Also averaged a 9.721 on vault and had an RQS of 9.730 to rank tied for 51st regionally… Competed in two events at the NCAA Regional Championships in Berkeley, Calif. (4/4), tying for ninth with a 9.800 on beam and placing 33rd with a 9.675 on floor… Competed in the same two events at the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Championships (3/21), tying for 15th with a 9.750 on floor and tying for 17th with a 9.775 on beam… Won three event titles during the season, including capturing consecutive beam titles in back-to-back meets with then-career-high scores of 9.875 against Seattle Pacific (2/6) and Boise State (2/15), respectively… Also set career highs of 9.775 on vault against Seattle Pacific and 9.875 on floor against BYU (3/13)… Earned academic all-Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference honors and was a USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete Award recipient.
2014 (RS): Did not compete due to a season-ending injury and received a medical redshirt... Was a USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete Award recipient.
2013 (FR): Made her collegiate debut, competing in the all-around four times during the season... Set her career-best all-around score at Southern Utah (2/1) with a 38.875 (3rd)... That same SUU meet was her best of the season, posting season-high scores in each event with a 9.625 (10th) on vault, 9.700 (T-8th) on bars, 9.825 (T-2nd) on beam and a 9.725 (T-6th) on floor... Earned academic all-WAC honors and was a USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete Award recipient.
CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL: Competed at the Illinois Gymnastics Institute under Todd Gardiner... Took seventh place in all-around at the Eastern Nationals... Was a four-year regional qualifier... Was a Junior Olympic qualifier in 2011 and 2012... Placed third on floor and 10th on beam at the 2012 Junior Olympics... Helped IGI to the state championship in 2011... Was named an Illinois State Scholar and was on the honor roll for four years at Wheaton North High School.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Bryan and Pam Sanzotti... Has an older brother and a younger sister... Chose USU because of the atmosphere of Logan and the surrounding mountains... Majoring in biology.
