Cross Country (2023): Opened the season by finishing 133rd with an 8K time of 24:41.3 at the Virginia Invitational… Took 200th with an 8K time of 25:03.1 at the Wisconsin-hosted Nuttycombe Invitational… Placed 56th at the Mountain West Championships with an 8K time of 25:14.8… Was the top Aggie finisher at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships, taking 43rd with a 10K time of 30:18.3.
Indoor: Finished fourth in the 5,000 meters (14:14.90) and 10th in the 3,000 meters (8:18.33) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Set a personal best in the 5,000 meters with a time of 13:55.49, which ranks fourth in school history, as he placed sixth at the Washington Invitational… Took 39th in the 3,000 meters with a season-best time of 8:08.91, which ranks eighth in school history, at the Washington-hosted Husky Classic… Set a personal best in the DMR with a time of 10:20.23 as he finished third at the Weber State Invitational.

Cross Country (2021): Competed in five meets with his best finish coming at the Utah Open, where he placed second with a time of 18:51.7 to help Utah State finish first as a team… Placed fourth with a time of 24:38.7 in the 8K Open Race at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run… Finished 33rd with a time of 25:23.0 in the Wisconsin-hosted Nuttycombe Invitational B race… Helped lead the Aggies to the team title at the Montana State Invitational as he placed 12th with a time of 24:59.70… Finished fifth with a time of 22:02 in the season-opening Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational.
Indoor: Placed 21st in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:15.91 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Finished first in the 5,000 meters with a season-best time of 14:36.72 at the Idaho State-hosted Mountain State Games… Ran a season-best time of 4:19.67 in the mile to place fifth at the Utah State-hosted Speed and Power Meet… Opened the season with a fifth-place finish and season-best time of 8:34.11 in the 3,000 meters at the Idaho State-hosted Stacy Dragila Invitational.
Outdoor: Placed 35th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:03.07 at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships… Earned first-team all-Mountain West honors after placing third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a season-best time of 8:43.11, which ranked third all-time in program history, at the Outdoor Championships… Won the 3,000 meters with a personal-best time of 8:27.13 at the Utah Valley Invitational… Placed 15th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:56.00 at the Mt. SAC Relays… Finished eighth in the steeplechase with a time of 8:58.67 at the Fresno State Invitational.
2020 (FR)
Cross Country (2019): Placed 55th with a time of 25:04.4 at the Mountain West Championships, as the Aggies captured their first-ever conference title… Placed sixth with a time of 22:00.30 in his Utah State debut, helping the Aggies capture the Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational team title… Finished 15th with a time of 24:39.2 in the Open Race at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run and 16th with a time of 25:51.8 at the Montana State Cross Country Classic… Was the top Aggie finisher in the “B” Race at the Wisconsin-hosted Nuttycombe Invitational, placing eighth with a time of 24:56.3.
Indoor: Did not compete during the season.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
HIGH SCHOOL: A seven-time letterwinner in track & field and cross country at Northridge High School in Layton, Utah… Named to the all-state team in the 3,200-meter run and 1,600-meter run in 2019 as he captured the runner-up title in the UHSAA 6A State Championships in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 9:27.07 and placed fifth in the 1,600-meter run with a personal-best time of 4:21.79… Ran a personal-best time of 9:19.90 in the 3,200-meter run at the Arcadia Invitational and a program-best 800-meter time of 2:05.25 at the Wildcat Invitational… Ran career-best times of 14:18.3 in the 2.75-mile run, 17:47.7 in the 2.9-mile run, 15:01 in the three-mile run and 16:31.1 in the 5,000 meters.
PERSONAL: One of four children of Brett and Buffy Wehrli… Served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Germany… Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in May 2024… Pursuing a master’s degree in kinesiology.
