2017-18 (Fr.): Finished the season with a stroke average of 76.00 over 17 rounds… Season-low 54-hole score was a 1-over 217 (73-73-71) at the Colorado-hosted Mark Simpson Invitational… Had one round in the 60s, including a season-low round of 66 at the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Classic… Had two rounds under par… Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.

2016-17 (Fr.): Redshirted during the season.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Orem (Utah) High School... Had a 69.0 scoring average as a senior as he earned first-team all-state and honors… Was the 2015 Utah Junior State Amateur Champion as he tied for the lowest scoring record in UJGA history with a 63… Also posted the lowest score in Orem HS history with a 65… Was a member of team Utah for the 2015 Junior America Cup… Also earned first-team all-state honors as a sophomore and junior, along with second-team all-state honors as a freshman… A four-time all-region selection.

Personal: Son of Michael and Sandra Stanger ... Has one brother and two sisters... Majoring in landscape architecture.
