Cross Country (2024): Took ninth at the Utah State Alumni Challenge with a 5K time of 18:22.96… Placed 14th at the BYU Autumn Classic, leading all Aggie runners with a three-mile time of 15:55.70… Finished 119th at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run with a 6K time of 21:32.9… Took third at the Utah Open with a 5K time of 19:00.84, leading Utah State to a team title.
Indoor: Set a personal best in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:52.24 as she placed 46th at the Washington Invitational… Ran a season-best mile of 5:11.22 at the Idaho State-hosted Snake River Open, placing ninth… Won the 3,000 meters at the Weber State Invitational with a time of 10:16.83.
Outdoor: Took 23rd in the prelims of the 1,500 meters and 24th in the 5,000 meters at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships with personal-best times of 4:38.52 and 16:56.68, respectively… Set a personal best in the outdoor mile with a time of 4:59.07 as she placed 16th at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational.
PREVIOUS SCHOOL: A six-time All-American in cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field through 2022-2024 at the College of Southern Idaho… Helped CSI to a 2022 NJCAA Division I National Championship in cross country, taking 10th individually… Named NJCAA Division I National Runner of the Week after winning the Utah State-hosted 2023 Steve T. Reeder Memorial 5K with a time of 18:22.4… Named 2024 track & field team MVP… Posted top times in an Eagle uniform in the cross country 5K (18:05) and 6K (21:02), with track & field bests in the 1,500 meters (4:47), mile (4:58), 3,000 meters (10:02) and 5,000 meters (17:25).
HIGH SCHOOL: Five-time letterwinner in track & field and cross country at Bear River High School in Garland, Utah… In her senior season, finished sixth at region and ninth at Utah Class 4A state meet with a personal best time of 19:15… Medaled at region meet three times in 2022 in the 1,600 meters, 3,200 meters and 4x400-meter relay… Named all-state in 2021, girls’ team MVP in 2021 and all-region in 2019 and 2021… Helped the Bears to a region 11 championship in 2019 and 4A academic championships in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Randy Phillips and Sarah Henrikson… Has 11 siblings… Majoring in elementary education.
