2020 (JR)
Cross Country (2019): Competed in four races, placing in the top-20 on three separate occasions… Best finish of the season was at the Utah Open where she placed fifth with a time of 19:19.5 to lead the Aggies to the team title… Finished sixth with a time of 18:59.60 at the Utah State-hosted Steve T. Reeder Memorial, helping USU capture first place as a team… Also helped the Aggies notch team titles at the Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational and the Montana State Cross Country Classic, placing 19th (20:04.64) and 38th (18:57.30), respectively.
Indoor: Placed third in the 5,000 meters with a personal-best time of 18:06.21 at the Boise State-hosted Jackson’s/Nike Boise Indoor Invitational… Finished eighth in the 3,000 meters with a career-best time of 10:23.20 at the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invitational... Earned academic all-Mountain West and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 (SO)
Cross Country (2018): Ran in four races with her best finish coming at the Utah Open, where she placed 22nd with a time of 20:15.7… Finished 24th with a time of 20:07.05 in the Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational… Also placed 31st in the USU-hosted Steve T. Reeder Memorial Invitational (20:05.09) and 47th in the BYU-hosted Autumn Classic (20:18.0)... Earned academic all-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.
Indoor: Competed in four meets with her best finish coming at the Boise State-hosted Jackson’s/Nike Boise Indoor, where she placed fourth in the 5,000 meters with a season-best time of 18:19.72… Also recorded season-best time of 10:31.41 in the 3,000 meters to finish 19th at the Boise State-hosted Bronco Challenge.
Outdoor: Placed first in the 5,000 meters with a personal-best time of 17:45.12 at the UC Irvine-hosted Collegiate Classic… Also recorded a top-10 finish in the 3,000 meters, placing sixth with a career-best time of 10:44.82 at the Utah Valley Invitational… Ran personal-best time of 38:01.42 in the 10,000 meters at the Mt. SAC Relays… Earned academic all-Mountain West and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides honors.

2018 (FR)
Indoor: Recorded career-best time of 5:36.32 in the mile at the Montana State Dual Meet and season-best time of 10:36.62 in the 3,000 meters at the Boise State-hosted Bronco Challenge… Recorded three top-10 finishes in the 3,000 meters, including placing fourth at the Boise State-hosted Jackson’s/Nike Boise Indoor Invite with a time of 10:45.37.
Outdoor: Competed at just one meet, placing 12th in the 5,000 meters with a season-best time of 18:16.51 at the UC Irvine-hosted Spring Collegiate Classic… Earned Mountain West Scholar-Athlete and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete accolades.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was an eight-time letterwinner in cross country and track & field at Jordan High School in Sandy, Utah… Sat out her senior season with injuries… Two-time region champion in the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter races… Is the Jordan HS school-record holder in the 3,200 meters… Earned the team’s Newcomer of the Year award as a freshman and was named MVP the next three years… Recorded two top-10 finishes at the state cross country meet, including helping the team place third in 2013… Also earned four letters as a tennis player for the Beetdiggers… Played at No. 3 singles and took first in the region and fifth at state as a senior, going undefeated until the state tournament… Earned all-region and team MVP honors as a senior… Graduated with a 3.99 GPA and was a member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Tracy and Sheryl Dutson… Has one brother and two sisters… Sister, Tavia, was a member of USU’s track & field and cross country teams from 2015-19… Majoring in human movement science.
