Cross Country (2024): Took 16th at the Utah State Alumni Challenge with a 7K time of 21:19.58… Placed 21st at the BYU Autumn Classic with a four-mile time of 20:35.89… Finished 13th in the open race at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run with an 8K time of 24:43.4… Took 27th at the Utah Open with an 8K time of 27:15.08… Earned Mountain West Men’s Cross Country Freshman of the Week honors on September 17… Following his freshman season, placed fourth at the USATF U20 Cross Country Championships with an 8K time of 26:16.
Indoor: Finished first in the mile at the Idaho-State hosted Stacy Dragila Open with a personal-best time of 4:16.28… Set a personal best in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:47.20 as he placed second at the Utah State-hosted Roman Ruiz Speed and Power Invitational.
Outdoor: Ran a personal-best outdoor mile of 4:15.19 at the Utah-Weber State Spring Classic, placing fifth… Set a personal best in the 1,500 meters with a time of 3:48.20 as he placed 25th at the Azusa Pacific-hosted Franson Last Chance… Following his freshman season, finished fifth and earned a medal in the 1,500 meters with a time of 3:55.59 at the USATF U20 Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: A seven-time letterwinner in track & field and cross country at Victory Charter School in Nampa, Idaho… Was the 2024 Idaho 1A state champion in the 1,600 meters (4:19.24) and 3,200 meters (9:27.15), while also placing second in the 800 meters (1:55.00)… During his senior season, recorded times of 1:53.95 in the 800 meters, 4:11.42 in the 1,600 meters and 9:07.68 in the 3,200 meters, while running a 5K time of 15:26… Was the 2023 Idaho 1A state champion in the 3,200 meters and placed second in the 1,600 meters… Member of the 2021 and 2022 Idaho 1A state championship cross country team as well as the 2023 Idaho 1A state championship track & field team… Played basketball, winning two letters and qualifying for state in 2020 and 2021… Graduated fifth in his class of 26… Member of the National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Son of Jeremy and Joy Stockett… Has two siblings… His brother, Ian Stockett, is a member of Northwest Nazarene’s cross country and track & field programs… Majoring in finance.
