Indoor: Did not compete during the indoor season.
Outdoor: Ran a season-best time of 14:37.73 in the 5,000 meters at the Azusa Pacific-hosted Bryan Clay Invitational, finishing 53rd.

Outdoor: Placed seventh in the 10,000 meters at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships with a time of 30:24.95… Ran a personal-best outdoor mile of 4:15.57 as he placed 19th at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational… Won the 10,000 meters at the Long Beach State-hosted Beach Invitational with a personal-best time of 29:53.07… Set a personal best in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:31.82 at the San Francisco State-hosted Mike Fanelli Track Classic, placing 30th.
