Cross Country (2019): Led Utah State to the team title at its own Steve T. Reeder Memorial as he finished first among Aggie competitors, and second overall, with a time of 21:27.26… Placed 10th with a time of 22:31.23 at the USU-hosted Sagebrush Invitational… Finished 20th with a time of 25:25.7 in the ‘B’ Race at the Wisconsin-hosted Nuttycombe Invitational… Captured 25th place with a time of 26:20.4 at the Montana State Cross Country Classic.
Indoor: Placed fourth in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:21.20 at the Boise State-hosted Jackson’s/Nike Boise Indoor Invitational… Ran the 3,000 meters at three meets with his best finish coming at the North Dakota State-hosted Bison Team Cup, where he placed eighth with a season-best time of 8:43.53.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019 (JR)
Cross Country (2018): Finished 45th at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships with a time of 30:29.6… Placed 19th at the Mountain West Championships with a time of 25:19.2… Recorded three top-20 finishes on the season… Competed in five meets with his best finish coming at the Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational, where he placed fifth with a time of 21:47.26… Also placed ninth at the BYU-hosted Autumn Classic (21:21.2)… Captured 23rd place with a time of 24:52 at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run and finished 137th with a time of 25:24.0 at Pre-Nationals.
Indoor: Placed 16th in the 5,000 meters (15:35.14) and 29th in the 3,000 meters (8:51.08) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Ran career-best time of 14:40.62 in the 5,000 meters at the Washington Invitational.
Outdoor: Finished 14th in the 10,000 meters with a time of 32:01.93 at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Recorded career-best time of 30:03.40, which ranks 10th all-time in school history, in the same event at the San Francisco State-hosted Mike Fanelli Track Classic… Earned academic all-MW honors.
