Earned Mountain West Scholar-Athlete accolades.
PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Began his collegiate career at Southern Virginia University in Buena Vista, Virginia… Averaged 74.00 with a then-career-low round of 70 in the spring of 2021… Was the medalist at the Roanoke Spring Invitational, where he shot a 1-over 72 to help SVU place first in the event… Tied for first at the Hill City Invitational with a 6-over 148 (70-78), helping the Knights finish third in the seven-team field… During the fall of 2021, he averaged 72.71 with five rounds of par or better… Best finish of the fall season was at the Kinder Williams Invitational, where he tied for second at 5-under 139 (68-71)… Made 11 birdies, which ranked third for the tournament… Tied the school record for lowest 18-hole score (68) and owns the record for lowest 36-hole score (139)… Helped SVU capture four tourney titles during his time there… Tabbed the USA South Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week on one occasion and was a 2021 Virginia State Collegiate second-team all-state recipient.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner in golf at Morgan (Utah) High School… Helped the Trojans capture the 2018 3A state title, their first golf crown since 1995… Also captured the Region 13 championship that year… Captured medalist honors with a 143 (72-71), making three-straight birdies on the 14th, 15th and 16th holes during the final round… Finished eighth at state as an individual during his junior season, helping Morgan HS take second as a team… Averaged 73.00 during his senior year and 74.00 as a junior… Earned academic all-state honors and was the president of the National Honor Society.
