2021 (SR)
Indoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Outdoor: Earned first-team all-Mountain West honors after placing third in the 4x100-meter relay with a career-best time of 40.97 at the Outdoor Championships, where he also finished 10th in the prelims of the 100 meters with a time of 10.80… Placed seventh in the 200 meters with a personal-best time of 21.97 at the Utah Valley Collegiate Invitational… Earned academic all-MW honors.

2020 (JR)
Indoor: Placed 12th in the 60-meter prelims (6.99) and 15th in the 200-meter prelims (22.27) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Ran season-best time of 22.23 in the 200 meters at the Boise State-hosted Jackson’s/Nike Boise Indoor Invitational, where he placed fourth in the event… Best finish of the season was at the Boise Indoor Invitational, where he placed third in the 60 meters with a time of 7.00.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 (SO)
Indoor: Placed eighth in the 200 meters (22.20) and 10th in the prelims of the 60 meters (7.00) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Ran career-best time of 6.96 in the 60 meters at the Washington Invitational… Recorded eight top-10 finishes, including placing third in the 60 meters with a time of 7.01 at the Montana State Dual Meet.
Outdoor: Garnered first-team all-Mountain West honors after placing third in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 41.21 at the Outdoor Championships, where he also placed 12th in the prelims of both the 100 meters (10.96) and 200 meters (22.51)… Ran career-best time of 10.79 in the 100 meters at the Texas Relays… Earned nine top-10 finishes… Best finish of the season came at the UC Irvine-hosted Collegiate Classic, where he ran a leg on the 4x100-meter relay team that placed second with a time of 41.61.

2018 (FR)
Indoor: Placed sixth in the 60 meters and 10th in the 200 meters with times of 7.01 and 22.08, respectively, at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Recorded personal-best times of 22.07 in the 200 meters at the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invitational and 3:25.56 in the 4x400-meter relay in the New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Invitational, and a season-best time of 6.99 in the 60 meters at the New Mexico Team Challenge… Earned 10 top-10 finishes, including placing in the top five on six occasions.
Outdoor: Placed fifth in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 41.62 at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, where he also placed 10th in the prelims of the 100 meters with a season-best time of 10.83… Recorded season-best times of 21.99 in the 200 meters at the Utah State-hosted Mark Faldmo Invitational and 41.16 in the 4x100-meter relay at the Utah/Weber State-hosted Spring Classic, where he placed first in the event… Also recorded a first-place finish in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 41.41 at the Mark Faldmo Invite… Earned 10 top-10 finishes, including placing in the top five on four occasions.

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-year letterwinner in track & field at Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian, Idaho… Helped lead the Grizzlies to back-to-back 5A state championships in 2016 and 2017… Tabbed the team MVP in 2017… Captured the 4x100-meter relay (42.25) and 100-meter dash (10.86) state titles as a junior in 2016… Ran the 100 meters in 10.68 and 200 meters in 21.98 as a senior, bettering his previous marks of 10.84 in the 100 meters and 22.22 in the 200 meters during his junior campaign… Also a two-year letterwinner and two-year starter as a wide receiver on the Rocky Mountain HS football team… Scored three touchdowns and had 300 all-purpose yards during the first two games of his senior season before suffering season-ending injury… Helped the Grizzlies capture the 5A state championship as a junior.

PERSONAL: One of six children of Patrick and Sarah Hewitt… Majoring in interdisciplinary studies.
