Indoor: Did not compete during the season.
Outdoor: Placed 10th in the decathlon with a career-best 4,726 points at the Azusa Pacific-hosted Bryan Clay Invitational… Ran personal-best time of 15.41 in the prelims of the 110-meter hurdles at the BYU-hosted Clarence Robison Invitational, where he placed 14th… Finished 10th in the 400 meters with a personal-best time of 50.46 at the UC Irvine-hosted Spring Collegiate Classic… Captured seventh place in the long jump at two meets, including the Spring Collegiate Classic, where he recorded a career-best mark of 6.43 meters (21-1.25)… Earned USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a five-time letterwinner at Magdalena (N.M.) High School as a sprinter and jumper on the track & field team… As a senior, won multiple high point male awards, including one at the state meet… Was the long jump state champion as a senior while placing second in the triple jump… Also won the 200m, 110m hurdles and the 400m state titles as a senior… Also won the long jump at state in 2014, while coming in as the runner-up in the 400m… Led the Steers to a state title in 2015 as a senior… Also competed in football and basketball… Was an all-state cornerback while guiding the team to a 10-1 record as a senior… Led his basketball team to a perfect 21-0 season and a state championship as a senior… Graduated first in his class as valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA and was on the National Honor Society… Awarded a Dean’s Scholarship at Utah State.
