Indoor: Competed at two meets during the season, recording personal-best times of 27.63 in the 200 meters at the Boise State-hosted Jackson’s/Nike Boise Indoor Invitational and 1:03.34 in the 400 meters at the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invitational… Placed eighth in the 4x400-meter relay with a career-best time of 4:07.63 at the Boise Indoor Invitational... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Participated in track & field and ran cross country at the University of Mobile (Ala.)… Set the program record and qualified for the NAIA Outdoor Nationals in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.01… Part of the 4x400-meter relay team that set a school record and placed 12th at the NAIA Indoor Championships with a time of 3:58.83… Also set a school record as a part of the indoor 4x800-meter relay team (9:51.74)… Finished 21st at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:05.38… Ran career-best time of 9.66 in the 60-meter hurdles at the 2018 KMS Indoor Invitational… Earned NAIA and SSAC all-academic honors three times at University of Mobile.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Hartselle (Ala.) High School… Participated in track & field and cross country… Was named the track team’s MVP her senior season… Finished fifth in state in the 300-meter hurdles as a senior with a time of 45.9… Had personal-best marks of 16.2 in the 100-meter hurdles and 45.9 in the 300-meter hurdles… Also participated in basketball.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Mickey and Misty Shelton… Has one younger brother… Majoring in human movement science.
