Indoor: Finished fifth in the 4x400-meter relay (3:15.63) and 18th (49.87) in the preliminaries of the 400 meters at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Won the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:35.14 at the Utah State-hosted Roman Ruiz Speed and Power Meet.
Outdoor: Set personal bests in the 400 meters during preliminaries with a time 49.26 (11th), 4x100-meter relay with a time of 42.47 (sixth) and 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:14.84 (fifth) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Won the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 42.74 at the Weber State Spring Open… Set a personal best in the 200 meters with a time of 22.30 as he finished seventh at the Utah Tech Invitational... Earned academic all-MW honors.

Indoor: Named to the all-Mountain West team after placing third in the 4x400-meter relay with a personal-best time of 3:15.16 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Set a personal best in the 400 meters with a time of 49.44 as he finished 22nd at the New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Invitational… Placed second in the 600 meters with a personal-best time of 1:26.28 at the Utah State-hosted Speed and Power Meet.
Outdoor: Did not compete during the outdoor season… Earned academic all-Mountain West, MW Scholar-Athlete honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in track & field at Herriman (Utah) High School... Runner-up in both the 200 and 400 meters at the 2019 UHSAA State Championship with times of 22.41 and 49.56, respectively... Won the Region 3 Championship in the 400 meters with a time of 49.80... Senior season was cut short due to COVID-19... Recorded personal-best times of 11.30 in the 100 meters, 22.19 in the 200 meters and 48.62 in the 400 meters.

PERSONAL: Son of David and Kristi Guiness... Has two siblings... Served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Knoxville, Tennessee, and Calgary, Canada, from 2020-22... Majoring in finance.
