Indoor: Garnered first-team all-Mountain West honors after placing first in the high jump with a mark of 2.06 meters (6-9.00) at the Indoor Championships… Also placed fifth in the high jump with a height of 1.95 meters (6-4.75) at the North Dakota State-hosted Bison Team Cup, the only other meet he competed in… Earned academic all-MW and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Indoor: Earned first-team all-Mountain West honors after placing second in the high jump with a career-best mark of 2.14 meters (7-0.25), which is tied for seventh all-time in school history, at the Indoor Championships… Began his collegiate career by capturing the high jump title with a mark of 2.05 meters (6-8.75) at the Boise State-hosted Bronco Invitational… Placed in the top 10 in the high jump at all six meets he competed in.
Outdoor: Tied for 31st in the high jump with a height of 2.01 meters (6-7) at the NCAA Outdoor West Prelims… Placed fifth in the high jump with a height of 2.01 meters (6-7) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Set career-best mark of 2.11 meters (6-11) in the high jump at the BYU-hosted Clarence Robison Invitational, where he placed fourth in the event… Best finish of the season in the high jump came at the UC Irvine-hosted Collegiate Classic, where he captured second with a height of 2.05 meters (6-8.75)… Earned academic all-MW and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: A five-time letterwinner in track & field and basketball at Layton (Utah) High School… Recorded a personal best in the high jump of 6-10, as he won both the state and region championships in the event… Earned all-region honors during his junior season in the high jump… Also competed in basketball, and led the Lancers to a region title in 2016… Finished his senior season with an 11-1 record, where he was named an all-state honorable mention and all-Area first team in 2016.

PERSONAL: Son of Robert and Jennifer Obray… Has one brother and one sister… Served a two-year LDS Church mission in Des Moines, Iowa… Majoring in accounting.
