Cross Country (2018): Finished 76th at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships with a time of 31:19.8… Was the Aggies’ top finisher at the Utah State-hosted Steve T. Reeder Memorial Invitational, placing ninth with a time of 22:02.06… Competed in five meets during the season and recorded three top-20 finishes, including 10th at the USU-hosted Sagebrush Invitational (22:20.60) and 15th in the unseeded race at Pre-Nationals (25:13.0)… Also finished 37th with a time of 22:14.3 at the BYU-hosted Autumn Classic.
Indoor: Competed in four meets with his best finish coming at the Boise State-hosted Bronco Invitational, where he placed third in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:39.04… Ran career-best time of 8:38.07 in the same event at the Boise State-hosted Bronco Challenge to place fourth… Also ran personal-best time of 14:50.21 in the 5,000 meters at the Washington Invitational.
Outdoor: Competed in four meets… Ran career-best times of 4:20.51 in the mile at the BYU-hosted Clarence Robison Invitational and 4:02.16 in the 1,500 meters at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational, where he placed second in the event… Also placed third in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:03.82 at the Utah Valley Invitational… Ran season-best time of 15:20.35 in the 5,000 meters at the UC Irvine-hosted Collegiate Invitational.

2018 (FR)
Cross Country (2017): Did not compete during the season.
Indoor: Competed in three meets, recording career-best times of 4:24.20 in the mile and 8:36.64 in the 3,000 meters at the Boise State-hosted Jackson Nike Boise Indoor Invite, and a season-best time of 14:58.77 in the 5,000 meters at the BSU-hosted Bronco Challenge… Notched four top-five finishes in all four of his races.
Outdoor: Competed in three meets… Tallied season-best time of 4:03.69 in the 1,500 meters at the Utah/Weber State-hosted Spring Classic and a career-best time of 14:46.74 in the 5,000 meters at the UC Irvine- hosted Spring Collegiate Classic… Best finish of the season was at the Utah State-hosted Mark Faldmo Invitational, where he took second in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:25.65… Earned USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Tabbed the All-Area Boys Cross-Country Runner of the Year by the Post Register as a prep senior at Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls, Idaho… As a senior in 2017, he won four 5K races, placed second in four others, broke 16:30 five times and 16:00 twice, including an area-best and No. 3 fastest on Idaho’s all-classification athletic.net rankings 15:31.7 at the Bob Conley Invitational Cross Country Meet… That time is believed to be the second-fastest ever at Bonneville HS, and his second-place finish at the 5A State Cross Country Championships is the best by a Bee since 1999… Also placed first in the 1,600m with a personal-best time of 4:20.73 at the 5A State Track & Field Championships… The seven-year letterwinner and two-time Post Register All-Area cross country first-team selection placed third at the state cross country championships as a junior in 2015… Helped the Bees qualify as a team for the state cross country championships during his freshman and senior seasons… Wrestled for the Bees during his sophomore year… Graduated with High Honors from Bonneville HS.
