Indoor: Placed 12th in the prelims of the 400 meters with a time of 50.05 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Set career-best time of 7.13 in the 60 meters at the Montana State Dual Meet, where he placed seventh.
Outdoor: Did not compete during the season.

2017 (FR)
Indoor: Placed 15th in the prelims of the 400 meters (55.29) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Recorded a first-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:17.39 at the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invitational… Set personal-best times of 22.37 in the 200 meters, 49.00 in the 400 meters and 3:16.56 in the 4x400-meter relay at the New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Invitational.
Outdoor: Did not compete during the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A five-time letterwinner in cross country and track & field at Herriman (Utah) High School… State champion in the 200m, 4x100m and 4x400m… Named MVP of the men’s team… Recorded track & field bests of 10.9 in the 100m, 21.79 in the 200m and 48.4 in the 400m.

PERSONAL: One of seven children of Wade and Natalie Tycksen… Sister, Lauren Tycksen competes in softball at Salt Lake Community College… Undeclared on a college major.
