Indoor: Won the 60 meters and 200 meters at the Idaho State-hosted Snake River Open with respective times of 6.70 and a personal-best 21.67… Finished first in the 55 meters and 200 meters at the Weber State Invitational with a facility-record and personal-best time of 6.26 and a time of 22.06, respectively… Took first in the 60 meters at the BYU December Invitational with a personal-best time of 6.70.
Outdoor: Finished 14th in the 4x100-meter relay quarterfinals at the NCAA West First Rounds with a personal-best time of 39.54… Took seventh in the 100 meters at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships with a time of 10.47… Set a personal best in the 100 meters with a time of 10.42 as he placed second at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational… Ran a personal-best time of 21.74 in the 200 meters at the Long Beach State-hosted Beach Invitational, placing 17th… Part of USU’s winning 4x100-meter relay team at the UNLV Rebel Elite, finishing in 39.65… Following his freshman season, finished 14th in the 100-meter prelims with a time of 10.71 at the USATF U20 Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in track & field at Woods Cross (Utah) High School… Earned third-place finishes in the 100 meters and 200 meters at the 5A state championships as a senior… Holds the Woods Cross school record in the 100 meters… Won a region title in the 100 meters as a junior… Member of Drive Athletics from 2023-24 under coach Daymon Visser… Graduated in 2024.

PERSONAL: Son of Troy and Diane Chase… Has two older sisters… Second cousin, Haley Thomas, played soccer at Weber State from 2017-20 and has played professionally in Iceland and Spokane, Washington… Mother’s cousin, Tiffany Arrhenius, was a javelin thrower at BYU from 2003-07… Mother’s cousin, Lisa Thuenson, played basketball at Utah from 1993-97… Majoring in psychology.
