2021 (JR)
Indoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Outdoor: Finished seventh in the 4x400-meter relay with a career-best time of 3:51.19 at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, where she also placed 12th in the prelims of the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.68… Finished sixth in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 1:00.68 at the Fresno State-hosted West Coast Relays… Opened the season at the UNLV Spring Invitational & Sheila Tarr-Smith Multis, where she placed 10th in the 800 meters with a personal-best time of 2:18.34… Finished second in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:53.16 at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational… Earned academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.

2020 (SO)
Indoor: Did not compete during the indoor season.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Was on the track & field team at BYU from 2017-18… Had personal-best times of 25.78 in the 200 meters, 57.29 in the 400 meters and 9.47 in the 60-meter hurdles.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Summit Academy High School in Bluffdale, Utah, her junior and senior years of high school, and Rigby (Idaho) High School prior to that… Holds the Utah 2A record times for both the 100-meter (14.33) and 300-meter hurdles (42.66)… Also holds the Idaho 4A record time for the 100-meter (14.20) and 300-meter hurdles (42.84)… Was a six-time individual state champion in Idaho, and a two-time individual state champion in Utah… Helped Rigby HS to team state championships in 2013 and 2014… Also played soccer and ran cross country, and earned first-team all-state honors in both sports… Graduated with a 3.9 GPA and earned academic honors.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Ted and Lynne Mecham… Has three brothers… Father was on the track & field team at BYU… Majoring in interdisciplinary studies.
