Indoor: Set a personal best in the mile with a time of 5:37.30 at the Utah State-hosted Speed and Power Meet, placing 15th… Ran a personal-best time of 2:25.70 in the 800 meters at the BYU Invitational, placing sixth… Also competed in the 800 meters at the Idaho State-hosted Stacy Dragila Invitational and the Idaho State-hosted Mountain State Games, registering times of 2:28.62 and 2:25.87, respectively.
Outdoor: Placed 13th with a career-best time of 2:24.70 in the 800 meters at the Utah Valley Invitational, where she also ran a leg on the 4x400-meter relay team that finished sixth with a time of 4:08.27… Finished sixth with personal-best time of 4:02.96 in the 4x400-meter relay at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational… Placed sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:25.23 at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational... Earned Academic All-MW honors and was also named a MW Scholar-Athlete and a Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete.

Indoor: Redshirted her first season at Utah State.
Outdoor: Competed in the mile, 1,500-meter run and 3,000-meter steeplechase at four meets during the season… Ran personal-best time of 5:43.71 in the mile at the BYU-hosted Clarence Robison Invitational… Best finish of the season came at the Utah Valley Invitational, where she placed fifth in the 1,500 meters with a career-best time of 4:58.42… Recorded personal-best time of 12:28.23 in the steeplechase at the UC Irvine-hosted Collegiate Classic… Earned academic all-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: A nine-time letterwinner in cross country and indoor/outdoor track & field at Cheyenne (Wyoming) Central High School… Earned all-state accolades in indoor track & field during her sophomore and senior seasons… Also garnered all-state honors in cross country and outdoor track & field… Helped lead the Indians to four state championships, twice in cross country (2015 and 2017) and once each in indoor (2018) and outdoor (2018) track & field… Captured individual state titles in the indoor 4x800-meter relay as a sophomore and senior, and the outdoor 4x800-meter relay, setting the state record in the process, as a senior… Tabbed all-conference in cross country as a freshman and junior, and in track & field for three consecutive years from 2016-18… Recorded career-best times of 47.8 in the 300-meter hurdles, 2:23.29 in the indoor 800 meters, 2:23.08 in the outdoor 800 meters, 5:33.75 in the 1,600 meters and 19:27.9 in the 5K… A member of the National Honor Society and earned a non-resident scholarship.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Daniel and Kristina Brownell… Has five siblings… Was born and raised in Cache Valley for 15 years before moving to Cheyenne, Wyoming… Served in the Kansas Wichita Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from August of 2019 to February of 2021... Majoring in PE teaching.
