Indoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Outdoor: Competed in the 110-meter hurdles at four separate meets during the season with his best finish coming at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational, where he placed fourth with a personal-best time of 15.27… Finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a career-best time of 57.15 at the Weber State Twilight Meet… Placed eighth in the 4x400-meter relay with a personal-best time of 3:22.39 at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational… Finished ninth in the same event with a time o 3:23.80 at the Idaho State-hosted Bengal Invitational… Earned academic all-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: An eight-time letterwinner in track & field and basketball at Southridge High School in Kennewick, Wash… Earned all-district honors after winning the 110-meter hurdles at the district championships during his senior season in 2017… Tabbed the Southridge HS Male Student-Athlete of the Spring in 2017… Earned honorable mention all-district honors in the high jump, 110-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles… Placed sixth in the 110-meter hurdles at the 3A State Championships… Set personal-best marks of 14.80 in the 110-meter hurdles, 41.02 in the 300-meter hurdles and 1.9 meters (6-2) in the high jump… Also played basketball for the Suns, averaging a double-double during his sophomore season… A member of the National Honor Society, graduated from Southridge HS with a 3.97 GPA… Earned a Dean’s List Scholarship.

PERSONAL: Son of Jason and Lisa Ellsworth… Has four younger siblings… … Served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Bangkok, Thailand from 2017-19… Majoring in mechanical engineering.
