Indoor: Set the Utah State record in the triple jump when he won the event at the BYU December Invitational with a mark of 15.69 meters (51-5.75) and then again at the Idaho State-hosted Snake River Open where he won the title with a mark of 15.74 meters (51-7.75)... Took second in the triple jump with a mark of 15.49 meters (50-10) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Won the triple jump with a mark of 15.44 meters (50-7.75) at the Weber State Invitational… Named Mountain West Men’s Field Athlete of the Week on Jan. 16.
Outdoor: Finished 24th in the triple jump with a mark of 15.34 meters (50-4) at the NCAA West First Rounds... Set the Utah State triple jump record on his way to becoming the Mountain West champion with a mark of 15.88 meters (52-1.25) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, breaking his own school record of 15.65 meters (51-4.25) set at the Long Beach State-hosted Beach Invitational… Won the triple jump with a mark of 14.77 meters (48-5.5) at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Spent two seasons at Central Arizona College, competing in the triple jump, long jump, high jump and 100 meters… A two-time junior college All-American in the triple jump… Placed first in the triple jump (15.19m), second in the high jump (1.92 m) and third in the long jump (6.99m) at 2023 NJCAA Region I Track & Field Championships… Placed third in the triple jump (15.45m) and 15th in the long jump (7.18m) at 2023 NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

PERSONAL: Son of Monday and Rebecca Charles… Has 12 siblings… Majoring in physical therapy with minors in kinesiology and videography.
