Indoor: Placed third in the 4x400-meter relay (3:29.34) and sixth in the 800 meters (2:02.43) at the BYU Invitational.
Outdoor: Placed fifth in the 800 meters with a season-best time of 1:56.84 at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational, where he also finished second in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:26.88… Posted a season-best time of 3:25.19 in the 4x400-meter relay to finish eighth at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational… Placed sixth in the 4x400-meter relay (3:26.95) and 15th in the 800 meters (2:00.52) to open the season at the Utah Valley Invitational… Placed 23rd with a time of 2:00.18 in the 800 meters at the Idaho State-hosted Bengal Invitational... Named a Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete.

2021 (SO)
Cross Country (2020): Did not compete during the season… Earned academic all-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.
Indoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Outdoor: Competed in two meets during the season… Placed third in the 4x400-meter relay with a personal-best time of 3:24.16 at the Montana-hosted Al Manuel Northwest Invitational, where he also finished fourth in the 800 meters with a career-best time of 1:55.49… Placed 18th in the 1,500 meters with a personal-best time of 4:07.16 at the Utah Valley Collegiate Invitational… Earned academic all-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete accolades.
 
2020 (FR)
Indoor: Placed fourth in the 800 meters with a career-best time of 1:54.54 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Placed first in the mile with a time of 4:22.68 at the BYU Indoor Invitational… Ran career-best time of 4:20.75 in the mile at the New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Elite Invitational… Recorded a pair of second-place finishes in the 800 meters at the North Dakota State-hosted Bison Team Cup (1:55.94) and the Boise State-hosted Jackson’s/Nike Boise Indoor Invitational (1:54.91)… Placed fifth in the 4x400-meter relay with a personal-best time of 3:21.04 at the Washington Invitational… Earned academic all-MW honors.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

HIGH SCHOOL: An eight-time letterwinner in track & field and cross country at Spanish Fork (Utah) High School… Earned all-state honors and was named the Nebo School District Student Athlete of the Year his senior season in 2017… Holds the Utah 4A state record in the 800-meter run, earning a time of 1:50.26 at the UVU Invite as a senior, a run which was named the boys 4A Performance of the Year… Was part of the boys medley relay team that won the state championship with a time of 3:34.52 as a senior… Has career-best marks of 49.6 in the 400 meters, 1:50.26 in the 800 meters, 4:17.8 in the mile, 9:27.4 in the 2-mile and 15:51 in the 5K… Graduated 20th in his class with a 3.99 GPA… Earned the Aggie Merit Scholarship, as well as the Regents Scholarship.
 
PERSONAL: One of two children of J. Wyatt and Jaime Andersen… Served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 2017-19… Majoring in animal, dairy & veterinary sciences.
