Indoor: Finished 10th in the weight throw at the Mountain West Indoor Championships with a personal-best mark of 17.58 meters (57-8.25)… Finished first in the weight throw at the Idaho-State hosted Stacy Dragila Open with a distance of 16.85 meters (55-3.5)… Set a personal best in the indoor discus with a throw of 47.76 meters (156-8.25) as he placed fourth at the BYU December Invitational.
Outdoor: Placed 44th in the discus at the NCAA West First Rounds with a mark of 50.37 meters (165-3)… Finished third in the discus at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships with a personal-best throw of 56.37 meters (184-11)… Set a personal best in the shot put with a distance of 14.75 meters (48-4.75) as he placed seventh at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational… Finished first in the discus at the Utah Tech Invitational with a throw of 49.24 meters (161-6.5).

2024 (FR)
Indoor: Placed 11th in the weight throw with a mark of 14.29 meters (46-10) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Set a season best in the weight throw with a mark of 16.11 meters (52-10.25) as he finished fourth at the Utah State-hosted Roman Ruiz Speed and Power Meet.
Outdoor: Finished 39th in the discus with a mark of 51.04 meters (167-5) at the NCAA West First Rounds… Won silver in the discus with a season-best mark of 55.39 meters (181-8), which ranked sixth in school history, at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Set a personal best in the hammer with a throw of 52.40 meters (171-11) as he placed sixth at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational… Totaled four podium finishes in the discus on the season at the Utah Tech Invitational (third), San Francisco State-hosted Mike Fanelli Track Classic (second), Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational (third) and Mountain West Outdoor Championships (second)… Earned academic all-MW honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-time letterwinner in shot put and discus at Lyman (Wyoming) High School… Two-time state champion in discus (2021, 2019) and one-time state champion in shot put (2021)… Was the 2021 Gatorade Track and Field Athlete of the Year in Wyoming… Career-best marks of 18.64 meters (61-2) in the shot put and 55.60 meters (182-5) in the discus… Two-year letterwinner in football and one-year letterwinner in basketball in high school… Helped the Eagles win the 2A state football championship in 2020… Named all-conference, all-state and to the Super 50 team following his senior season as he played in the Wyoming Shrine Bowl.

PERSONAL: Son of Joshua and Kristin Turner… Has four siblings… Served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kennewick, Washington from 2021-23… Majoring in psychology.
