Indoor: Took ninth in the long jump and 10th in the triple jump at the Mountain West Indoor Championships with respective marks of 6.79 meters (22-3.25) and a personal-best 13.34 meters (43-9.25)… Set a personal best in the 60 meters with a time of 7.04 as he placed sixth in the prelims at the Idaho State-hosted Snake River Open… Finished first in the long jump at the Utah State-hosted Roman Ruiz Speed and Power Invitational with a personal-best clearance of 7.29 meters (23-11)… Won the long jump title at the BYU December Invitational with a mark of 7.02 meters (23-0.5).
Outdoor: Took eighth in the long jump at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships with a mark of 7.26 meters (23-10)… Set a personal best in the 100 meters with a time of 11.10 as he placed fifth among the decathletes at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational… Finished runner-up in the long jump at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational with a personal-best distance of 7.44 meters (24-5)… Set a personal best in the triple jump with a mark of 12.89 meters (42-3.5), finishing third at the Utah Tech Invitational.

2024 (JR)
Indoor: Finished 11th in the long jump with a mark of 6.09 meters (19-11.75) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Won the long jump with a season-best mark of 6.80 meters (22-3.75) at the Utah State-hosted Roman Ruiz Speed and Power Meet.
Outdoor: Finished sixth in the 4x100-meter relay with a season-best time of 42.47 and 12th in the long jump with a mark of 6.90 meters (22-7.75) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Set a season best in the 100 meters with a time of 11.24 (sixth) and tied for the long jump title with a mark of 6.88 meters (22-7) at the Utah Tech Invitational.

2023 (SO)
Indoor: Set a season best in the 60 meters with a time of 7.12 during preliminaries at the Utah State-hosted Speed and Power Meet… Finished seventh in the long jump with a season-best mark of 6.53 meters (21-5.25) at the Nebraska-hosted Mark Colligan Memorial.
Outdoor: Finished 11th in the long jump with a mark of 6.27 meters (20-7.0) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Finished second in the long jump with a season-best mark of 6.98 meters (22-10.75) at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational.

2022 (FR)
Indoor: Placed seventh in the long jump with a season-best mark of 7.01 meters (23-0.00) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Finished second in the long jump with a leap of 6.76 meters (22-2.25) at the Utah State-hosted Speed and Power Meet… Placed 16th in the long jump with a mark of 6.87 meters (22-6.50) at the New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Elite Invitational… Opened the season with a fourth-place finish and mark of 6.50 meters (21-4.00) in the long jump at the BYU Invitational… Placed 10th in the long jump mark of 6.47 meters (21-2.75) at the Nebraska-hosted Mark Colligan Memorial.
Outdoor: Placed ninth in the long jump with a mark of 6.88 meters (22-7.00) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Set a season-best mark of 7.05 meters (23-1.50) to finish fifth in the long jump at the Utah Valley Invitational… Opened the season with a 19th-place finish and mark of 6.79 meters (22-3.50) at the Arizona-hosted Willie Williams Classic… Placed 20th in the long jump with a mark of 6.67 meters (21-10.75) at the Fresno State Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah… Captured the long jump title at the 5A state championships as a junior in 2018… Named a USATF Junior Olympic All-American after placing seventh in the long jump with a mark of 6.99 meters (22-11.25)… Won the long jump with a mark of 6.78 meters (22-3.75) at the 2019 Simplot Games in Pocatello, Idaho… Finished second in the long jump at the 2017 state championships and sixth in the 110-meter hurdles at the 5A state championships… Recorded career-best mark of 7.14 meters (23-5.25) in the long jump at the 2018 USATF regional meet… Competed in basketball and cross country for the Leopards… Earned academic all-state honors, was an AP Scholar and recipient of a resident deans scholarship from Utah State.

PERSONAL: Son of Robert and Louise Hartvigsen… Has two brothers and one sister… Married fellow Utah State track and field athlete Alison Richter in June 2024… Served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Gilbert, Arizona, from 2019-21… Majoring in nutrition science.
