2020 (SR)
Cross Country (2019): Placed 69th with a time of 21:47.7 at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships… Finished 37th with a time of 21:26.5 at the Mountain West Championships… Recorded one top-10 finish on the season as she placed sixth with a time of 17:41.20 at the Montana State Cross Country Classic to help lead the Aggies to the team title… Placed 99th (21:16.0) and 186th (21:59.2), respectively, at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run and Wisconsin-hosted Nuttycombe Invitational... Earned academic all-MW honors.
Indoor: Placed ninth in the DMR (12:04.26) and ninth in the prelims of the mile (5:06.08) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Ran career-best times of 5:01.41 in the mile at the New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Elite Invitational and 9:54.66 in the 3,000 meters at the Washington Invitational... Earned academic all-MW and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 JR
Cross Country (2018): Placed 67th with a time of 21:30.9 at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships… Finished 47th with a time of 22:48.2 at the Mountain West Championships… Competed in five meets during the season with her best finish coming at the Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational, where she placed fifth with a time of 18:32.68… Placed 51st with a time of 21:44 at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run… Finished 124th with a time of 22:03.1 at Pre-Nationals... Earned academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.
Indoor: Placed 14th in the mile (5:06.21) and 23rd in the 3,000 meters (10:12.17) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Competed in four meets with her best finish coming at both the Montana State Dual Meet and New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Collegiate Elite Invitational, where she placed sixth in the mile (5:15.56) and 3,000 meters (10:06.22), respectively.
Outdoor: Placed 12th in the 10,000 meters with a personal-best time of 36:50.60 at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Finished fifth in the 5,000 meters with a career-best time of 17:10.04, which ranks ninth all-time in school history, at the Mt. SAC Relays… Also competed in the 1,500 meters at one meet, finishing eighth with a time of 4:52.73 to place eighth at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational… Earned academic all-MW, MW Scholar-Athlete USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete accolades.

2018 (SO)
Cross Country (2017): Placed 29th at the Mountain West Championships with a time of 21:55.90… Raced in four other events during the year, with her best finish coming at the Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational, placing 11th with a time of 18:33.378… Finished 20th at the BYU Autumn Classic with a time of 17:32.9… Earned academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete accolades.
Indoor: Placed eighth in the DMR with a personal-best time of 11:57.70, 16th in the 3,000 meters with a season-best time of 9:59.90 and 16th in the prelims of the mile with a time of 5:05.28 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Ran season-best time of 5:02.50 in the mile at the New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Invitational, placing sixth in the event… Captured first place in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:06.28 at the Montana State Dual Meet.
Outdoor: Competed in three meets, recording career-best times of 4:46.16 in the 1,500 meters at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays and 5:12.83 in the mile at the BYU-hosted Clarence Robison Invitational… Ran season-best time of 17:32.66 in the 5,000 meters at the San Francisco Distance Carnival… Earned academic all-Mountain West, MW Scholar-Athlete and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete accolades.

2017 (FR)
Cross Country (2016): Competed in three meets during the season with her best finish coming at the Utah State-hosted Steve T. Reeder Memorial, where she placed 19th with a time of 19:34.33… Earned academic all-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.
Indoor: Placed third in the DMR and sixth in the mile with season-best times of 12:45.11 and 5:26.21, respectively, at the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invitational… Set personal-best time of 10:55.31 in the 3,000 meters at the Boise State Challenge.
Outdoor: Placed seventh in the 3,000 meters with a personal-best time of 10:51.90 at the UC Irvine-hosted Spring Collegiate Classic… Recorded season-best time of 5:05.04 in the 1,500 meters at the Utah State-hosted Mark Faldmo Invitational, where she finished ninth… Earned Mountain West Scholar-Athlete and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in cross country and track & field at Green River (Wyo.) High School... Won the 800-meter title at the 2015 state championships... Garnered all-state accolades in cross country in 2014 and 2015, and all-state honors in track & field as a junior and senior in 2015 and 2016, respectively... Recorded career-best times of 2:21.67 in the 800 meters and 5:19.91 in the 1,600 meters.

PERSONAL: One of two children of Chris and Dayna Givens... Majoring in communicative disorders and deaf education.
