Cross Country (2018): Missed the season due to injury.
Indoor: Missed the season due to injury.
Outdoor: Placed second in the 5,000 meters with a time of 17:34.46 at the Long Beach State-hosted Beach Invitational… Crossed the finish line in fifth in the same event with a time of 18:26.98 at the BYU-hosted Clarence Robison Invitational… Garnered first-team Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District for the third-straight year and was named the USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete of the Year, as well as earned Whitesides Scholar-Athlete accolades.

2018 (JR)
Cross Country (2017): Finished 110th at the NCAA National Cross Country Championships with a time of 20:47.05… Earned her second-consecutive all-region honor after finishing 11th at the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships with a time of 20:29.0… Garnered her third all-Mountain West accolade after a 13th-place finish at the MW Championships with a time of 21:22.02… Raced in three other competitions during the year, with her best finish coming at the BYU Autumn Classic, ending the race in third place with a time of 16:54.8… Was Utah State’s top finisher once, and she placed in the top-three five times… Earned USTFCCCA All-Academic, academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.
Indoor: Placed fourth in the 5,000 meters with a personal best-time of 16:32.28, which ranks second all-time in school history, and seventh in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:43.90 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Captured two titles during the indoor season, both at the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invitational, where she placed first in the DMR with a personal-best time of 12:02.25 and captured gold in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:15.08.
Outdoor: Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Championships in the 10,000 meters with a school-record time of 34:37.86 set at the Stanford Invitational… Finished 14th in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:48.67 at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Garnered first-team Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District, USTFCCCA All-Academic, academic all-MW, MW Scholar-Athlete and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete accolades.

2017 (SO)
Cross Country (2016): Earned all-region honors by placing 15th with a time of 20:28.50 at the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships… Garnered first-team all-Mountain West honors and recorded her best finish of the season by placing eighth with a time of 20:45.20 at the conference championships… Competed in four meets during the season and finished in the top 15 twice… Was USU’s top women’s finisher in three meets… Earned USTFCCCA All-Academic, academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.
Indoor: Placed fifth in the 5,000 meters with a season-best time of 16:50.28 and eighth in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:51.51 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Set personal-best times of 5:02.55 in the mile at the New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Invitational and 9:38.21 in the 3,000 meters, which ranks third all-time in school history, at the Washington Invitational… Placed first with a time of 5:02.81 at the Montana State Invitational.
Outdoor: Placed 27th in the semifinals of the 5,000 meters with a time of 17:18.83 at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships… Finished sixth in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:44.41 at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Set a school record of 16:14.46 in the 5,000 meters at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays… Garnered first-team CoSIDA Academic All-District, USTFCCCA All-Academic, academic all-MW, MW Scholar-Athlete and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete accolades.

2016 (FR)
Cross Country (2015): Finished 75th with a time of 22:51.76 at the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships… Earned second-team all-conference honors by placing 14th with a time of 23:41.68 at the Mountain West Championships… Was the top Aggie placer in five of the six meets she competed in… Recorded three top-20 finishes, including placing first at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational with a time of 17:39.78… Also placed second with a time of 17:26.47 at the Montana State Invitational... Earned MW Scholar-Athlete honors.
Indoor: Redshirted during the season.
Outdoor: Placed 36th in the 5,000 meters (17:12.95) at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships… Finished eighth in the 5,000 meters (16:43.12) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Set the then-school record in the 3,000 meters (9:40.52) in her first collegiate meet at the UC Irvine Anteater Invitational… The time now ranks second all-time in USU history… Also set the then-school record in the 5,000 meters at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays, where she placed 36th with a time of 16:23.29… Garnered USTFCCCA All-Academic, academic all-MW, MW Scholar-Athlete and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete accolades.

HIGH SCHOOL: An eight-time letterwinner in cross country and track & field at Juab High School in Nephi, Utah… Recorded a personal-best mile time of 4:54 as a senior… Recorded track & field bests of 4:58 in the 1,600 meters and 10:38 in the 3,200 meters… Cross country state champion with a state-record time of 17:48 … State champion in the 1,600 meters and 3,200 meters as a senior.

PERSONAL: One of four children of Cheryl and Weston Carter… Majoring in physical therapy.
