INDOOR RECORDS: Ranks first all-time in USU history in the weight throw and second all-time in the shot put with marks of 19.49 meters (63-11.50) and 16.18 meters (53.1), respectively, both of which were set in 2019.

OUTDOOR RECORDS: Ranks third all-time in USU history in the shot put and 10th all-time in the hammer with respective marks of 16.50 meters (54-1.75) and 57.54 meters (188-9.25), both of which were set in 2022... Also ranks eighth all-time in USU history in the discus with a mark of 50.97 meters (167-2), set in 2021.

2022 (GR)
Indoor: Earned first-team all-conference honors after placing third in the shot put with a mark of 15.22 meters (49-11.25) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships, where she also finished 10th in the weight throw with a mark of 17.21 meters (56-5.00)… Recorded a season-best mark of 15.49 meters (50-10.00) in the shot put to capture first place at the Utah State-hosted Speed and Power Meet, where she also secured the weight throw title with a heave of 18.26 meters (59-11.00)… Posted a season-best mark of 18.35 meters (60-2.50) in the weight throw at the New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Elite Invitational, placing fourth… Finished first in the weight throw with a mark of 17.33 meters (56-10.25) at the BYU Invitational, where she also placed second in the shot put with a mark of 14.93 meters (48-11.75)… Placed second in both the shot put and weight throw at the Washington Invitational with respective marks of 15.40 meters (50-6.25) and 17.07 meters (56-0.00).
Outdoor: Placed 25th in the shot put with a mark of 15.80 meters (51-10) at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships... Earned first team-all conference honors after placing second the shot put with a career-best mark of 16.50 meters (54-1.75), which ranks third all-time in school history, at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Also placed seventh in the hammer (56.29 meters/184-8) and 10th in the discus (45.37 meters/148-10) at the MW outdoor championships… Finished third in the hammer with a season-best throw of 57.54 meters (188-9.25) at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational, ranking as the 10th-best mark in the event in school history… Placed first in the shot put three times during the season as she won the Stanford Invitational (15.58 meters/51-1.50), the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational (15.83/51-11.25) and the Robison Invitational (15.79 meters/51-9.75)… Recorded a season-best mark of 46.99 meters (154-2) in the discus to place 11th at the Fresno State Invitational... Earned USTFCCCA All-Academic and Academic All-MW honors and was also named a MW Scholar-Athlete and a Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete.

2021 (SR)
Indoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Outdoor: Placed 17th in the shot put with a career-best mark of 16.07 meters (52-8.75) at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships, where she also finished 32nd in the discus with a heave of 49.48 meters (162-4)… Placed fourth in the shot put (15.60 meters/51-2.25) and 13th in the discus (44.77 meters/146-10) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, where she also competed in the hammer... Recorded 16 top-10 finishes during the season, including three firsts in the shot put and two firsts in the discus… Finished fourth in the discus with a personal-best mark of 50.97 meters (167-2), which ranks eighth all-time in school history, at the Fresno State-hosted West Coast Relays… Placed third in the hammer with a personal-best throw of 55.10 meters (189-9) at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational… Earned academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete accolades.

2020 (RS)

Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 (JR)
Indoor: Earned first-team all-Mountain West honors in the weight throw after placing first with a career-best heave of 19.49 meters (63-11.5), which ranks first all-time in school history, at the Indoor Championships… Also placed fourth in the shot put with a personal-best mark of 16.18 meters (53-1), which ranks second all-time in Utah State history, at the Indoor Championships… Recorded 12 top-10 finishes during the season – six in the shot put and six in the weight throw… Placed first in the shot put at both the Montana State Dual Meet (15.57 meters/51-1) and the Boise State-hosted Jacksons/Nike Boise Indoor (15.65 meters/51-4.25)… Also finished first in the weight throw with a heave of 18.33 meters (60-1.75) at the Jacksons/Nike Boise Indoor.
Outdoor: Redshirted during the season… Earned academic all-Mountain West and Mountain West Scholar-Athlete honors.

2018 (SO)
Indoor: Earned first-team all-Mountain West honors in the shot put after placing third with a season-best heave of 15.52 meters (50-11.00) at the Indoor Championships… Also placed eighth in the weight throw with a season-best mark of 17.27 meters (56-8.00) at the Indoor Championships… Recorded 11 top-10 finishes during the season, including placing third on seven occasions.
Outdoor: Finished 43rd in the first round of the shot put with a mark of 14.63 meters (48-00) at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships… Placed seventh in the hammer throw with a season-best distance of 55.50 meters (180-7), ninth in the shot put with a heave of 14.48 meters (47-6.25) and ninth in the discus with a season-best throw of 45.09 meters (147-11) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Tallied 14 top-10 finishes, including capturing the hammer title with a mark of 53.70 meters (176-2) at the Utah/Weber State-hosted Spring Classic… Recorded season-best mark of 15.53 meters (51-0) in the shot put at the Spring Classic… Garnered USTFCCCA All-Academic, academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete accolades.

2017 (FR)
Indoor: Placed 11th in the shot put (13.00 meters/42-8) and 12th in the weight throw (15.98 meters/52-5.25) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Set season bests of 13.64 meters (44-9) in the shot put at the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invitational and 16.19 meters (53-1.50) in the weight throw at the Boise State-hosted Jacksons/New Balance Invitational.
Outdoor: Finished 10th in the hammer (47.56 meters/156-0) and 19th in the shot put (13.35 meters/43-9.75) at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships... Placed eighth in the shot put (14.03 meters/46-00.50), 13th in the hammer (47.86 meters/157-00) and 17th in the discus (40.56 meters/133-01) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Recorded season-best mark of 14.51 meters (47-7.25) in the shot put at the Utah State-hosted Mark Faldmo Invitational, where she placed third in the event… Also set season bests of 50.42 meters (165-5) in the hammer and 43.52 meters (142-9.50) in the discus at the BYU-hosted Clarence Robison Invitational, placing second and sixth, respectively… Finished in the top-10 12 times during the season… Garnered academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete accolades.

HIGH SCHOOL: A six-time letterwinner in track & field and volleyball at Logan (Utah) High School… State champion in the shot put and state runner-up in the discus as a senior… Six-time region champion in the shot put and discus… Owns school records in the shot put, discus, hammer throw and weight throw… In volleyball, Garren holds the school record for most consecutive aces.

PERSONAL: One of three children of Bill and Melinda Garren… Father, Bill, serves as Utah State’s Assistant Athletics Director for Video Operations… Majoring in kinesiology.
