Indoor: Finished seventh in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:18.04 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Ran his season-best mile with a time of 4:08.27 as he finished 49th at the Washington Invitational… Ran his season-best 3,000 meters with a time of 8:07.15 as he placed 30th at the Washington-hosted Husky Classic… Awarded a prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship for student-athletes who competed in Fall 2023... Earned academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.
Outdoor: Finished 14th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a season-best time of 8:50.05 at the NCAA West First Rounds… Placed seventh in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:53.45 at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Took second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:51.35 at the Stanford-hosted Payton Jordan Invitational... Earned academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.

Cross Country (2022): Placed 158th with a 10K time of 30:40.6 at the NCAA Championships, helping Utah State finish 26th as a team… Was the second Aggie to cross the finish line at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships, placing 33rd overall with a 10K time of 28:41.4… Placed 16th with an 8K time of 24:07.8 at the Mountain West Championships, where Utah State placed third as a team… Opened the season by placing 41st with an 8K time of 23:35.2 at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run to help Utah State place third out of 46 teams… Placed 106th with an 8K time of 24:05.4 at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational.
Indoor: Finished seventh in the mile with a time of 4:09.05 after advancing from the preliminaries in seventh with a time of 4:11.59 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Set personal bests in the 3,000 meters (37th, 8:06.77) and mile (45th, 4:05.92) at the Washington-hosted Husky Classic.
Outdoor: Finished 32nd in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:52.57 at the NCAA West Preliminary Round… Placed fifth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:53.31 at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Set a personal best in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:44.86, which ranks fifth in school history, as he took seventh at the Stanford-hosted Payton Jordan Invitational… Earned academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.

2022 (JR)
Cross Country (2021): Was the fourth Aggie across the line at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships, placing 41st with a time of 31:04.4 to help Utah State finish eighth out of 17 teams… Finished 18th with a time of 24:05.2 at the Mountain West Championships, where the Aggies placed third as a team… Named the MW Athlete of the Week after leading Utah State to the team title at the Montana State Invitational, where he placed second with a time of 24:25.40… Opened the season with a first-place finish at the Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational, crossing the line in 21:39… Placed first with a time of 24:14.1 at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run to help the Aggies finish fourth out of 40 teams…. Was the fourth Aggie to cross the line at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational, finishing 94th with a time of 24:28.3... Named a MW Scholar-Athlete.
Indoor: Placed sixth in the mile with a career-best time of 4:08.23 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Finished ninth in the 5,000 meters with a personal-best time of 14:21.79 at the Washington Invitational… Placed fourth in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:45.66 at the Idaho State-hosted Mountain State Games.
Outdoor: Placed 24th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:52.40 at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships… Finished fourth in the steeplechase with a career-best time of 8:46.93, which ranks fifth all-time in school history, at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Opened the season by placing fifth in the steeplechase with a time of 8:57.25 at the Stanford Invitational… Also placed fifth in the steeplechase at the Fresno State Invitational, recording a time 8:57.00… Finished 31st in the steeplechase with a time of 9:02.70 at the Mt. SAC Relays... Earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors and was named a MW Scholar-Athlete and a USU Whitesides Scholar-Athlete.

2021 (SO)
Cross Country (2020): Placed 176th with a time of 32:29.6 at the NCAA National Championships as the Aggies recorded an 11th-place team finish… Finished 22nd at the Mountain West Championships with a time of 24:29.6, helping the Aggies to a runner-up finish… Helped Utah State capture the team title at the Dixie State Invitational, crossing the finish line in 24:32.0 for a 17th-place finish… Placed 80th in the Florida State Winter Classic Garnet Race with a time of 25:01.3… Earned USTFCCCA All-Academic, academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete accolades.
Indoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Outdoor: Finished 10th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a season-best time of 9:06.86 at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, where he also competed in the 5,000 meters… Won the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational 1,500 meters with a career-best time of 3:54.30… Earned academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete accolades.
 
2020 (RS-FR)
Cross Country (2019): Helped lead Utah State to team titles at both the Utah Open and Utah State-hosted Steve T. Reeder Memorial, placing third and fifth, respectively, with times of 19:41.8 and 21:54.84… Recorded top-30 finishes in his other two races, placing 11th (22:32.56) at the USU-hosted Sagebrush Invitational and 27th (26:23.9) at the Montana State Cross Country Classic.
Indoor: Placed third in the 3,000 meters with a personal-best time of 8:37.16 at the Boise State-hosted Bronco Challenge… Competed in the 3,000 meters at three meets with his best finish coming at the Boise State-hosted Jackson’s/Nike Boise Indoor Invitational, where he placed second with a time of 8:41.79… Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2017 (RS)
Cross Country (2016): Competed in two meets during the season… Placed 37th with a time of 23:05.27 at the Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational… Finished 80th with a time of 26:46.85 at the Montana State Invitational.
Indoor: Did not compete during the season.
Outdoor: Did not compete during the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: An eight-time letterwinner in cross country and track & field at Shelley (Idaho) High School… Earned all-area cross country team honors in 2014 and 2015… Helped lead the Russets to the state track & field title as a senior in 2016… Also captured back-to-back cross country state championships in 2013 and 2014, and conference titles in 2013 and 2015… Recorded career-best times of 2:02 in the 800 meters, 4:36 in the 1,600 meters, 9:51 in the 3,200 meters and 15:45 in the 5,000 meters as a senior.

PERSONAL: One of six children of Kevin and Karami Crandall… Served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brazil... Majoring in management.

PERSONAL BESTS INCLUDE:
