HONORS: Mountain West Men’s Track Athlete of the Week (3/25/25); Mountain West Men’s Cross Country Freshman of the Week (10/5/21, 10/20/21).

2025 (SO)
Indoor: Did not compete during the indoor season.
Outdoor: Ran a personal-best outdoor mile of 4:16.65 at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational, placing second… Set a personal best in the 10,000 meters with a time of 29:40.02 as he placed third at the San Francisco State-hosted Mike Fanelli Track Classic… Ran a personal-best time of 14:26.89 in the 5,000 meters at the Utah Tech Invitational, finishing third.

2022 (FR)
Cross Country (2021): Placed 37th with a time of 24:37.5 at the Mountain West Championships, helping Utah State finish third as a team… Earned his first MW Freshman of the Week award after placing 51st with a time of 24:19.8 at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run, helping the Aggies finish fourth out of 40 teams… Named the MW Freshman of the Week two weeks later as he was the third Aggie to cross the finish line at the Wisconsin-hosted Nuttycombe Invitational, placing 77th with a time of 24:18.4… Made his collegiate debut at the Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational, where he placed second with a time of 21:43.
Indoor: Did not compete during the indoor season.
Outdoor: Won the 3,000 meters with a career-best time of 8:29.32 at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational… Placed second in the 5,000 meters with a season-best time of 14:42.52 at the Idaho State-hosted Bengal Invitational… Opened the season by finishing second in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:30.88 at the Utah Valley Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a seven-time letterwinner in cross country and track & field at Oak Mountain High School in Birmingham, Alabama… Captured the 2020 Class 7A State Cross Country Championship for the Eagles with a time of 15:13.66 – 10 seconds faster than the second-place finisher… That time marked was his second-fastest of the season after placing second with a time of 15:08.02 at the Jesse Owens Meet to place second in the event… Finished inside the top three in all eight of the meets he competed in… Finished second at the 2019 state cross country championships… Earned second-team All-American honors after placing 19th at the 2020 RunningLane Cross Country Championships… Earned a spot on the FootLocker All-South Team… Ran personal-best times of 4:14 in the 1,600 meters, 9:14 in the 3,200 meters and 14:94 in the 5,000 meters.

PERSONAL: Son of James and Callie Cole… Has three younger sisters… Sister, Lauren, is a member of the Middle Tennessee cross country and track and field programs… Served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mesa, Arizona from 2022-24… Majoring in preparatory engineering… Pursuing a career in aviation maintenance.
