Indoor: Set a personal best in the 800 meters with a time of 1:58.31 as he finished seventh at the Nebraska-hosted Mark Colligan Memorial.
Outdoor: Set a personal best in the 800 meters with a time of 1:55.25 as he placed 11th at the Fresno State Invitational… Earned academic all-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ran track & field and cross country at Olympus High School i Holladay, Utah... Placed third in the 800 meters and 18th in the 1,600 meters and third in the 4x800 relay at the 2022 UHSAA State Track & Field Championships... Placed first in the 1,600 meters at the 2022 Utah Region 6 Championships and first in the 800 meters at the 2021 Region 6 Championships... Three-time region winner in the 4x400 relay in 2019, 2021 and 2022... Won the 800 meters at the 2022 Great Southwest Classic... Helped Olympus HS to three straight region titles in cross country from 2019 through 2021... Placed fifth at the 2021 Region 6 XC Championships.

PERSONAL: Son of Dave and Sherry Spence... Has two older siblings... Older brother, Max, runs cross country and track & field at Southern Utah... Graduated valedictorian with two academic all-state honors... Sterling Scholar recipient... Majoring in physics with minors in computer science and mathematics.
