CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL -- Competed for the Illinois Gymnastics Institute coached by Todd Gardiner, same gym and coach as Aggie sophomore Erica Huelsmann... Qualified for the Level 9 regional competition and the Level 9 Eastern Championships in 2007... Placed fifth in the all-around and seventh on floor at the Level 9 national meet... Qualified for the Level 10 regional competition 2008-2009... At the Level 10 regionals, won the beam title, placed 13th all-around with a 37.125 total, also placed 16th on floor (9.275), 19th on vault (9.300) and 22nd on bars (9.025)... Competed with her team in 2009 to win the Level 10 state championships...  Finished third on beam at the Level 10 Senior B Regionals with a 9.525.

PERSONAL -- Last name is pronounced Kara-vee-da... An exercise science major with plans to become an athletic trainer... Daughter of Michael and Donna Karavida... Is an only child... Came to USU because she likes the team atmosphere.
