2023 (GRAD): Missed the first three meets of the season while recovering from an injury… Competed on beam in the final seven meets, averaging 9.529 on the event… Tied for 17th on beam with a 9.750 at the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Championships (3/18)… Named the co-MRGC Beam Specialist of the Week after tying for first on the event with a season-best 9.900 at BYU (2/24)… Season debut was at Boise State (2/3), where she led the Aggies on beam by placing sixth with a 9.800… Placed ninth on beam with a 9.800 against No. 21 Southern Utah (2/17).
2022 (SENIOR CAMPAIGN): Competed as a beam specialist in all 13 meets… Earned second-team all-Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference honors on beam… Ranked third in the MRGC, 10th in the North Central Region and tied for 56th in the nation with a National Qualifying Score of 9.890 on beam… Tied for 13th on beam with a 9.825 in Session 1 of the second round of the NCAA Norman Regional (3/31)… Captured the beam title with a career-high-tying 9.925, which is tied for ninth in school history, at the conference championships (3/19), helping the Aggies win their first-ever MRGC title… Garnered her first MRGC Beam Specialist Week award after initially setting her career high of 9.925 on beam at No. 21 BYU (1/28), where she tied for first on the event… Also named the MRGC Beam Specialist of the Week after winning the event title with a 9.900 at No. 25 Southern Utah (2/11)… Scored a 9.800 or better 10 times on beam… Captured three titles on beam… Earned academic all-MRGC accolades.
2021 (JUNIOR CAMPAIGN): Competed as a beam specialist in 10 of Utah State’s 11 meets during the season… Tied for 16th in the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference and tied for 35th in the North Central Region with a National Qualifying Score of 9.844 on beam… Capped her season at the NCAA Salt Lake City Regional Championships (4/2) by tying for 25th on beam with a 9.800, which is tied for sixth all-time in school history at a regional meet… Tied for second on beam with a season-high 9.900 at No. 5 Utah (3/12)… Garnered Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association Scholastic All-America and academic
all-MRGC accolades.
2020 (SOPHOMORE CAMPAIGN): Ranked 15th in the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference and tied for 38th in the North Central Region with a National Qualifying Score of 9.780 on beam… Averaged 9.775 on beam, which is tied for 15th all-time in single-season school history… Competed on beam in the last seven meets of the season, recording a then-career-best 9.875 at the Boise State quad meet (2/21) to tie for fifth… Tied for third on beam in back-to-back meets at Air Force (1/25) and at Southern Utah (1/31), recording a 9.800 and 9.825, respectively.
2019 (FRESHMAN CAMPAIGN): Did not compete during the season.
CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in all four events for 14 years for Athletes In Motion in Prairieville, La., under coach Shelley Swanson… Placed second on beam and 11th in the all-around at the 2018 Level 10 Regionals… Was the 2017 state beam champion… Also competed at the Level 10 Regionals in 2016 and 2017… Graduated from the Louisiana Virtual Charter Academy.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Scott and Jeri Bayles… Has four brothers and two sisters… Earned her bachelor's degree in sociology from Utah State in the spring of 2022 and is pursuing her master’s degree in human development and family studies.
